Today, my nihongo teacher announced there will be a test on next Tuesday, and I told her, "No way! Sensei! There's 'Bara no nai Hanaya' on Monday night, there's no way I can concentrate to study for the test on that night!!" lol!! My teacher is an avid fan of Tamaki Hiroshi and she was wondering, "Really? That interesting? Even more interesting than Shikaotoko Aoniyoshi?" LOL!

My classmates were talking about this drama during lunch break in class, even before I started, so I'm happy^^ One of 'em, just like me, memorize some of the dialogues already due to repetitive watch

"Bara no nai Hanaya" posters are everywhere here, I can see them in JR stations, and there was also a big poster of Shingo alone (as Eiji) in Omote Sando Hills (Harajuku).

Nakamura Shido and Takeuchi Yuko has FINALLY hand over the divorce application to the ward office in January 27th, 2008, and that their divorce case has been settled.

Their son's custody case was a big problem, since Shido want his son to inherit his kabuki family generation and of course, he wanted to educate him to be a kabuki actor. But if Takeuchi takes custody of their son, he'll loose all the rights to do all these. Takeuchi Yuko filed the divorce papers and hired a divorce lawyer since October 2006. Ah... as much as I guessed. LoL. I mean, not many would talk about the drama back in our home countries. I know I had to get my friends to start watching it. Well, my main motive was the Yuko-Yumiko duo. LoL. But I got suckered in more than what I expected. It's really a touching drama.

YEAH YEAH! Fuwari! That's so right! it is so difficult to find people who watch Jdorama in Singapore. I have to force my friends to watch them, but still many are stuck with Korean and Taiwanese dramas.

I am the only one going ga-ga over Jdoramas and actors...

I don't watch Korean or Taiwanese dramas either. I find some Korean ones too soapy, and some of the Taiwanese ones too corny. -.-"

Japanese dramas have that right balance and touch. I can't relate to many of my friends because they watch the other 2. So I'm kind of the Jdorama loner in the group. LoL. XD

Hopefully LoveSong subs Episode 2 and 3 soon! I can understand raw to a certain degree, but if I'm gonna really enjoy the drama, I definitely need subtitles!

J Dramas are like the corner stone of the Asian Drama Industry. They are much more matured in production than your TW/KR which actually plagiarized alot of elements from J Dramas.

There will always be cycles so I believe one day J-dramas will come back strong!
