Episode 10 makes me feel really annoyed with Shun. Darn baddie!

Then again, he's the same as Eiji, but growing up with such thinking probably caused him to be like that. Pity him a little too though.

Am not really good with raws, so I'll wait for LS's subbed versions. They're doing a rather good job I'd say! Hope there's a happy ending for Sensei and Master as well, though I wish it was me. MUAHAHAHA. =X

Haha, that would be nice wouldn't it! I've enjoyed the interactions between Sensei and Master during some of the Mio downtime.

Final episode was great. Thought the ending was going to be bad but I was wrong. Now I have to find another drama to watch.

My overall comments on Bara no nai Hanaya.

I was like ALL FOR THIS DRAMA, in the first 6 eps, going all crazy abt it. The first 6 episodes, were really superb!

But somehow, everything started to fall apart since Ep7. The plot was still intact, but Shingo's acting performance in the middle of ep7 disappointed me, his expression was awful when he was hitting the tree, talking to master. By the end of ep7, it shocked me for awhile, but after I thought of what it means.... then, its just as predictable as it is. The past story behind all these, just disappointed me, not as interesting as I've guessed (I prefer all the guesses raised in ep3, that Eiji was a bad-turn-good guy =P).
Then, Mio's character just gets more and more annoying. NOT Takeuchi Yuko's fault, but I just don't like the way Nojima Shinji wrote her character.

Putting aside the last half, Bara no nai Hanaya is one of the classic drama^^ But for mystery, Nozawa Hisashi and Higashino Keigo are better writers. For romance, Yoshida Noriko and Kitagawa Eriko writes better stories.
Nojima Shinji is best in weird and mind-boggling stories, like Seikimatsu no Uta[The Last Song] starring Takenouchi Yutaka^^ But it was really terrific in the first half.

This is just MHO, seem like there are people who enjoyed this drama to the end. I'm glad^^ The soundtrack is a-MUST!! Loved it alot.

Finished it late yesterday... so i didn't post anything.

Well, for the most part, I agree with yanie_chan, the drama started off very strong, and kind of faded towards the end. I guessed most of the ending by the end of ep 9. Mio lost all her tension at the end, I think that's what made her a great character in the beginning. Her acting was pretty good, and she has lots of pouting moments.. where she looks adorable.


Overall though, it's one of the better ones lately, i give it a high 8.

I really enjoyed watching this dorama. Good story, good casting, good theme song, good ending. My favorite winter dorama 2008.
