I figure this whole DV thing is the premise of the whole show.
I find that hard to believe... If that's the case, it's poor execution.
If it were, they should've, if not already, fleshed out Sosuke's character instead of him just constantly lurking to try to add suspense to each episode.

Interestingly, this post implies something about Michiru's pregnancy that I had not yet considered. That conclusion, however, would seem somewhat surprising that after they lived together at least for a while. She may be pregnant already.. but somehow I doubt that it would have happened yet, considering that the Michiru in the prologue seems to be talking about something in the distant past - I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't more than a year or two later. _________________

Yea, and I think that's the problem. I mean, if he's still existing in the show and if Michiru is still struggling with him and the situation, then they aren't giving enough time to her relationship with Ruka. Or to Ruka in general. And they definitely aren't dedicating any time to Sousuke, since he's so lame.

I screamed when the camera panned away from Takeru and Michiru at the end -- I KNEW they had Ruka leave her cell phone there for a reason. Argh!!! I know she's being distant to them so she's bringing it upon herself, but I just want to shake her and tell her to spill her heart out to at least Michiru! And I'm not talking about a love confession; I want her to tell her about the sexual identity troubles so she'll have a confidante.
