Or Ryo--all he had to do was look creepy, which is actually quite natural to his face.
Are you serious? It took Ryo a lot more than making "creepy" faces to pull that character off. Don't under estimate his acting in this drama, it was his acting that attracted nearly EVERYONE to this drama.
Someone is SERIOUSLY delusional.

As much as I'd like to say everyone has their own taste, I have to agree with you on this one 'racer. It sure as hell wasn't his acting that attracted viewers.

If it was, these people don't know what acting is.
hear! hear! I definitely agree. If we're going to talk about acting and what attracted viewers, that would be Juri and Eita. Too bad, the writer didn't match up with them.

If that's true, I have mixed feelings about it: Are they going to bring back the DV theme again with a different person?
I could do without that crap for a second season. bleh
I also feel the same way. They had their chance in the SP and blew it. If they will really do it, I hope they look for another scriptwriter and it better be a good one.

yeah that person is delusional....she even said Ryo acting is more convincing than Eita lol

No disrespect, but Ryo should stick on to singing rather than acting.. I wouldn't necessary call his acting great.. It has to be a trick to pull in all the fan girls!
As for a second season with Ruka's story? Thanks, but no! They screwed up big time with the SP.. I cringe at the mere thought of a second season (with possibly more DV action)

For sure.
I'd cast my vote for a gallon of paint any day of the year over that performance...
I'd be shocked if Ryo gets any kind of awards nomination, outside of nominations that are just purely fan-voting based. Lord knows the ballot for that kind of voting will be filled with Ryo fans who think his acting was so great. I fail, miserably I guess, to see where his acting in that role was great. Was it the scene where he was crying while he was looking at the pictures? Really, that was convincing? That was such a sappy scene to begin with, you could have thrown in any other actor to shed those tears. It was hard to feel for his character before that scene anyway, either sympathy or hate, so you can throw out the argument about how his character is not supposed to be liked in the first place if I can't even hate the guy. It was just flat, and if Ryo gets a nomination, let alone an award, it'd be quite a surprise.

Apparently the person over at D-Addicts was wowed by that and his repentance... Talk about gullible.
I suppose she'd let Charles Manson walk if he cried during his trial.

Maybe not singing either, there's a reason why he's never the best singer in Kanjani8!
I'm a Kanjani8 fan, technically that makes me a Ryo fan. However, besides 1 Litre of Tears, I can't really say that his acting has improved because it clearly hasn't. _________________

So apparently he's mediocre in both careers... Typical JE material, ne?
