Nailed it. The whole reason for 720p ;-)

I thought Ep. 2 was a marked improvement over the first episode. Still the silly dramatic for dramatic sake premises though. I think Michuru is becoming less and less interesting - so much the stereotypical passive player. I think she'll have an opportunity in ep. 3 on to become something more.

I'm going to double up my guess that it isn't Ruka whose death could be prevented. I get the feeling this is a show where they're trying to mislead you. I have a guess as to what's going to happen.. but I'm going to keep it quiet for now Smile

DIFF file?

Yea... this way you shouldn't violate suketeru request of not distribute self changed/corrected sub.

DIFF file it is difference file betwen oryginal and new wersion done by specialised program with witch you can make DIFF file or patch old file with DIFF file to make the new file Yeah (I have Linux-Box here)

Noooo...
You've said that you've proofread it and then you've posted mediafire link to the original subs.

Would anyone post to pastebin.com MediaInfo output of 700x396 ep1? I want to see what FPS it have but my own BT sucks at the moment and I'm in hurry.

Hard to settle for anything less once you've watched the 720p version of dramas Mr Green I had problems with the softsubs as well, but a little time editing might do the trick. Then again, knowing me, I will never bother editing the subs. As long as I understand what's going on, it's good enough (which goes to explain why I still use Siantut's beta subs for Nodame) Victory! Peace!

I'm not sure if I want to have this drama in 720p... It looks to be a good/very good drama, but I think it's low on the re-watchability scale.... Unlike some others... Rolling eyes Wink

Ueno Juri, 720p. Aside from that, I'd rather much get the 720p version while I can and save myself the trouble later on should I feel the drama is worth it. At this point, it's still early to tell anything, though I wish they'd go more with Ruka's character soon. Feed us some bigger bread crumbs darn it!!

OK.
I've "mechanicaly" timed suketeru softsub EP2 for 720p RAW so it's in sync now. By countless try I've managed to discover that changing timing from 29.984 FPS to 30 FPS will work.

Here is the DIFF file to patch original file: http://www.fileden.com/files/2006/12/11/497871/misc/Ueno%20Juri/LastFriends-EP02-720p-ASS.diff

Under Linux one need to do in terminal:
Code:
patch -o new-patched.ass oryginal-suketeru.ass LastFriends-EP02-720p-ASS.diff

After that "new-patched.ass" will be timed one.

Windows user must install copy of win32 patch executable:
http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/patch.htm
http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/install.html
or... manually copy&paste timing lines from diff to ASS file Yeah

Good point.

Still, Ueno Juri/Nodame/720p trumps Ueno Juri/Ruka/720p. Bleah

And you say that while slowly downloading the 720p version of Nodame hehe That's the very situation I'm trying to avoid here or for any other drama I may be interested in Victory! Peace!

There's software to do the aligning/re-sync: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Time_Adjuster Smile

Yeah, I procrastinated on that...

Again, I can live with Last Friends at 396p.

Yeah, and I've done it with SubtitleEditor 0.20.0 by "kitone" (only one subtitle editor that preserwe all ASS style under Linux) but it took me some time to figure out needed time scale (start at 0:00:01.570 and end at 0:46:46:797 and this is the differnece betwen 29.984 and 30 FPS ;P - It was the only one way to discover correct time scale start and end)

It sure feels nice to be back here! Smile

Last Friends is probably the only drama I'll be watching this season, because school keeps me so busy X( I mean, I promised myself I'd resist dramas and focus on school, but as if Rolly

So I tried the first episode of Last Friends, and I don't think I can resist it. Lol. Everyone's just so impressive.

You actually downloaded it? What happened to just using the raw version + suketeru's subs?
