Synopsis
Takashi Sorimachi stars as Satoru Tachibana, an advertising firm employee slaving away under a younger boss for a meager salary. One day, he desperately enters a lottery, trying to make enough money to pay for his child support, but his sense of self-disgust kicks in. i didn't know that Takashi-san will be having a drama this summer season!! i totally loved his carefree attitude even though he was totally pervie in GTO!! be looking forward to this!! _________________
I had a laugh with the surprise appearance by Misaki Ito. She's the spokeswoman for Lotto here in Japan for those of you who don't know. They showed how much Tachibanasan spent at the end of the episode so I'm guessing we'll see his winnings diminish.

Just watched first ep.
They're just introducing the situation so far, but I enjoyed the episode. I wanted to see more of Manabe Kaori though, especially with her name 3rd on cast list. I was surprised to see Itou Misaki in cameo-like role and also Sekai no Nabeatsu. He didn't even get to "3" yet, but I know it's coming!
I liked the first episode, but I don't see much promise in future episodes... Sorimachi's character is really retarded, and already many of his actions doesn't make any sense. Supporting characters seemed to be too exaggerated too. Plus I don't know why, but something about TV Asahi's dorama always bothers me. I can't quite put a finger on it, but it feels like lacking something.
Hopefully I'm proven wrong, and it gets better and better. I really want to like this series.

Perhaps the director was trying to portray him as some poor sap. I'm sure we'll see the ups and downs of being a lottery winner but hopefully nothing too ridiculous. I also hope this series turns out well.
Well, one thing's for sure... Sorimachi's acting has improved. I almost didn't recognize him the way he acted, so quiet an demure. He really seems to put a lot of effort into portraying this character.
As expected, we see Tachibanasan getting used by people/coworkers since he has a lot of money. I was getting annoyed how he's such a push over though. If some hostess stole my gold Rolex I'm hiring Golgo 13 to shoot her down! Still entertaining to watch though.

He's FAR too easy of a pushover, and with the implied intro, I have this feeling that we'll have the obvious 'the counselor wasn't really a counselor and will end up being the one to take the rest of his money when the show returns to where they're searching for him.
Also, I really hate the fact that he was so easily able to withdraw so much cash in one shot. I'm not saying it's not possible in Japan since I'm assuming they don't announce winners of the lottery, but I at least know in the area I live in that if you withdraw more than a certain amount in cash, you are most likely going to be turned down due to how banks handle their cash on hand.
The one thing I did like was the fact they show how much money he has spent so far of his winnings, which should be quite entertaining when we get to later episodes.

Didn't see it yet, but since I liked Sorimachi Takashi in many roles I'm definitely going to watch it.
Honestly the plot doesn't seem too exciting to me, but you should never depend on that, ne ...^^ (I nearly didn't watch Nodame because I thought the story was too plain O___O'...)

I'm pretty sure he'll be exploited penniless by the end, but learns the value of money and that "money can't buy happiness"
What a crappy 3rd episode! If this continues, the ratings will hit 0 before Tachibana's winnings do. I've got one more episode in me for them to right this ship! Come on Sorimachi...I know you can do better!

LoL... I watched episode 3 too. I think I'm going to be dropping this series soon.
Looks like Manabe Kaori's character will finally have a decent role next episode. I'll probably just watch that and if it doesn't get any better, stop watching.
