I read that it's based on a book. Is this based on a true story?

Synopsis sounds interesting, I haven't seen this kind of story done before.

Just watched first ep.

They're just introducing the situation so far, but I enjoyed the episode. I wanted to see more of Manabe Kaori though, especially with her name 3rd on cast list. I was surprised to see Itou Misaki in cameo-like role and also Sekai no Nabeatsu. He didn't even get to "3" yet, but I know it's coming!

I liked the first episode, but I don't see much promise in future episodes... Sorimachi's character is really retarded, and already many of his actions doesn't make any sense. Supporting characters seemed to be too exaggerated too. Plus I don't know why, but something about TV Asahi's dorama always bothers me. I can't quite put a finger on it, but it feels like lacking something.

Hopefully I'm proven wrong, and it gets better and better. I really want to like this series.

Perhaps the director was trying to portray him as some poor sap. I'm sure we'll see the ups and downs of being a lottery winner but hopefully nothing too ridiculous. I also hope this series turns out well.

Well, one thing's for sure... Sorimachi's acting has improved. I almost didn't recognize him the way he acted, so quiet an demure. He really seems to put a lot of effort into portraying this character.

Yea, I'm still on the fence with this show myself after watching episode one.

Didn't see it yet, but since I liked Sorimachi Takashi in many roles I'm definitely going to watch it.
Honestly the plot doesn't seem too exciting to me, but you should never depend on that, ne ...^^ (I nearly didn't watch Nodame because I thought the story was too plain O___O'...)

The tally in the end reminds me of Binbou Danshi, only opposite Sweat

I'm pretty sure he'll be exploited penniless by the end, but learns the value of money and that "money can't buy happiness" hehe

What a crappy 3rd episode! If this continues, the ratings will hit 0 before Tachibana's winnings do. bleh I've got one more episode in me for them to right this ship! Come on Sorimachi...I know you can do better!

LoL... I watched episode 3 too. I think I'm going to be dropping this series soon.

Looks like Manabe Kaori's character will finally have a decent role next episode. I'll probably just watch that and if it doesn't get any better, stop watching.

The main character is just so dumb, it's frustrating to watch. Sorimachi's super fakey acting doesn't help Beat You

I'm officially drop kickin this one. Sorimachi's character, Tachibana, is such a dolt making it painful to watch. "A fool and his money are soon parted."
