Yes, I've watched Maou, tofu. Although I enjoyed it (esp. Ohno's acting *v*), but I felt something's lacking in the plot... maybe it lacks heart-warming moments, most of it are intensed moments and sad moments. Naruse Ryo has no bond with anybody, and kept being denial abt Shiori deshou? For example, in Byakuyakou, even though the main leads (Yamada-Ayase's characters) done alot of scary stuff, but they did everything for each other, they have no one in this world except each other, and that's what moved me. I guess, I prefer mystery stories where the main leads has a strong bond, coz that's the beauty of all Like Sleeping Forest, Kimura Takuya and Nakayama Miho's characters had a strange bond, and the drama was directed beautifully as well.

I'm hoping something like this for Ryusei no Kizuna, and the title itself contains 'bond', anyway. The intensed parts were only in the beginning I think and you've read those chapters. The later chapters are on the siblings' interaction, interesting fraud activities, and Yukinari-Shizuna's love story. So I've continued reading, btw And somehow Yukinari-Shizuna reminded of Katori Shingo-Takeuchi Yuko's relationship in Bara no nai Hanaya =P I'm supporting Yukinari-Shizuna's relationship!

But... these are up to Chapter 20 only... I don't know what else awaiting ahead *continue reading*

yup... less spoilers the better. those who wants them better search it for themselves or ask in pm. i love spoilers but just for little plots here and there. the spoiler box here is not that effective in concealing the words

I love Sora Kara, Sleeping Forest, when the story gradually blooms at a normal pace, rather than the high speed impending doom in Maou. But I must say, I've never seen a dorama with that much intensity in EVERY episode unlike Maou. Not sure about Byakuyakou but I don't think its the same. There still the bond between characters in Maou and the chemistry was intense' (Shiori/Naruse/Naoto) but it definitely lacked warmth. What's missing is more backstory on the Manaka family bond to emphasize more on Manaka Tomoo deep love for his family.

eeehh.. the "intense" parts were just during their childhood days? huhuhu.. i think i need to read a whole lot of chapters at once for me to feel for the characters. i felt detached with the story/characters by reading them a chapter at a time... it kinda falls flat .

So, I've finally finished the book Yokatta... what I've been worried about, didn't happen!! *winked at others who also worried abt it* HOWEVER... I cannot guarantee what's gonna happen in the drama^^

Apparently, the ending is something that depend on the readers' own interpretation and imagination. It wasn't stated clearly this or that. But I can accept it^^

Still, there are things I'm not satisfied with, so I'm really welcoming all changes and additions proposed by Kudo Kankuro!!^v^ Bring it on, KudoKan!!

One of the apparent is additional character named Hayashi George, doesn't exist at all, and Koichi doesn't work in the curry store at all in the book.

As for the intensed moments. Yes, apparently there were intensed moments many times in the latter chapters that make me went "yabaaai...", "damee...", "no way!" But don't expect it as "Maou" intensed moments, coz the Ariake siblings are not killers, they're swindlers.

I mean it's all rumors but they say Yuzu will be doing the theme song for Salaryman Kintaro and if that's true, it would be highly unlikely that they would do one for Innocent Love as well. Anyways, I wouldn't mind having David Bowie since I do like Bowie a lot. The only thing I wonder is if it will fit the drama well as a theme song.

So it could be anything, she could be the themesong singer, a guest in the drama, or maybe it was only a name similar to Nakashima Mika (maybe the child actress ).

There were rumors that Koichi and Shizuna's child actor and actress were from the same ones in Yamada Taro Monogatari, but don't know which one!! xD Maybe Jiro, and the youngest girl? Hope its true!

In Taisuke child actor's webpage, it is written that he's a REGULAR in the drama. That make me assumed, the childhood flashback will appear in every episode. And I don't think the murder incident can be cut to several scenes for several episodes...?? So maybe there will be other childhood flashback other than the murder incident time? *hopeful*

Btw, I remember abt something for Nino fans. Koichi did more of Mission Impossible thingies than disguising To those who has read the Chapter 7 translation, remember the mountain-climbing tool he used to sneaked out of the orphanage? He'll use that again to accomplish their secret mission^^ Other than the mastermind, he's also the technician expert I guess, to sneak in and to sneak out quietly is his part^^
