was really surprised when i checked oreiji's blog and rnk's LJ community earlier..but still it's good that Mika was added as part of the cast, looking forward to her acting, and her song's really good too, although i still think it fits Innocent Love..

I'm glad Mika joining the cast. Never seen NANA before but i hear lots of praises on her.
Seems most of us who were anticipating this drama are surprise to see its all cheery with pop-ish Arashi song, Mika's love song (are they going to focus on the love?? but I want sibling love. NOT INCEST ) and the warm & cheerful set. Hopefully they'll pull this one of. The expectations are just too high.

Anyway, I'm glad I read the book first. Coz if I hadn't I'd be surprise of how light the drama looked, while I've been expecting something like Byakuyakou x) The childhood chapters of Ryusei were indeed depressing. But when they grown up, all the fraud actions has potential to be comedy scenes. Also Yukinari's clumsy and nervous attitudes whenever he's around Shizuna were funny. It all has comedy potential, so I can see it as a light drama.

I dunno... maybe Ryusei would be a dark comedy?

If its a dark comedy I hope the comedy will come from the sibling interactions and the swindling activities. Meh.. don't like the focus straying away from Nino xD

umm.. its not as dark and disturbing as IWGP though. Dark comedy is a very tricky genre. If its a dark comedy, the comedy itself will surround the tragedy. I don't think they can joke about the parents murder. Sorry can't make my thoughts any clearer
Can't wait to see the first episode so it can brush away all my doubts.

i always chose a drama for the talent, especially one who's obviously a very talented actor like Nino... which is also hot in a peculiar kind of way

nah.. I like all sorts of dramas, dark, light, romance, comedy.
I'm in a mood for romance drama actually (Innocent Love ) and I'm hoping there would be a love interest for the Ariake brothers that's NOT their sister.
Watching Mika's appearance on music shows give me an impression that she is a cold and kind of stiff . Maybe she can be quirky. Would love to see her smile more and not that gothic in RnK
