Yup.
Of course, there's the age issue, too: my near vision is starting to go.

I'll need to get one of those pricey toric contact lenses. |

Up to now, my optometrist has been able to compensate by adjusting the power of the lens, but now my astigmatism has gone off the deep end.
He suggested disposable toric lenses, but I'd rather have daily wear/care ones...

I wear contact when i go to school, or when i hang out with friends. I usually wear glasses during weekends.
Heard that it's bad for our eyes to have the contacts on for a long period of time? So i try to avoid wearing them for a long period of time.
Despite the saying of contacts help in controlling the power of eyesight, my eyesights worsen every year. T^T _________________

Are you wearing soft lenses?
I always worry that my lenses would dried up and stuck on my eyeballs.
Is that even possible to happen? 0.0
I had one of my contact stucking up on my eyeball, once. Fortunately i was managed to pull it off before it rolls to my upper lid. _________________

Yup... Daily wear soft lenses.
Never had any issues with them getting stuck... There have been a few occasions where they did roll under my eyelid, but they eventually popped out.

My advice is to call an ophthalmologist's office just to be on the safe side. Tell them what you said here. That flash of light and pain doesn't sound very good. If they think that it's a serious thing, they should be able to fit your into their schedule asap.
Also, I read your reply below. What kind of doctor did you consult with? If it's just a regular medical doctor, not an eye doctor, I would definitely call the eye doctor. I can ask my boss, who's an optometrist, on if he would refer someone to an ophthalmologist in a case like this. _________________

I agree... If it's that painful, it should be taken care of ASAP.
