Finally remembered to watch Episode 2 last night.... Victory! Peace!

Got a little confused about who the adult Yoroku and Kiheji were and had to check over at DramaWiki... Sweat

Right now, I'm a bit leery about Tsumabuki Satoshi in a jidaigeki...

not so many yet, I think. I forgot some titles Beat You
but it's very enough for me to say, Tenchijin is good.. both from the story and the cast w00t!

Plus! Like I said before, I REALLY like history of Uesugi-clan. Coz it makes me learn about Tokugawa and others too. That's why i like TENCHIJIN best of all! Mochiron, thx to the handsome cast also hihihih Mr Green

Ma.. tatoeba desu ne.. the most I remembered; YOSHITSUNE (i like Yoshitsune's story!), ATSUHIME, SHINSENGUMI, FUURIN KAZAN (Gackt appears as Uesugi Kenshin here Dancing ), MUSASHI.....aarrghh Bonk I forgot others! there are names of Sakamoto Ryouma, Toshiie, Houjo, Mouri.... i believe.

Oh yeah ZATOICHI en AZUMI.. can we put this two in taiga category too?!
Even RED SHADOW? hahahha.. I know this one is fantasy, but still it tooks Jidai Era, isn't it?! Wkwkwkkw hehe jodan, jodan

Hmm.. haven't seen the NOBUNAGA and others old-project Taiga coz it's hard for me to find them these days.

So long as you've never seen Yoshitsune, you'll be o.k. That piece of crap could scare you off the genre forever. Beaten

** Taigas are always based on real people. **

Man, I just watched Episode 5 and the question I'd really like to ask the director is:

What the heck were Tsumabuki and Kitamura & Takashima and Tamatetsu looking at in the final moments of the episode?

There are the two leads... talking to each other, but both are looking up and to the right, at... I don't know... the Moon? At Abe Hiroshi standing up on his cliff? At the Bat Signal? It was laughable watching these two guys striking heroic poses, gazing up to the heavens, as they delivered their final speeches.

But it became hilarious when in the very next scene Tamatetsu delivered his lines to Takashima while striking a heroic pose and looking up and to his left.

The cherry on top was of course was when mom struck her pose after he left, and delivered her lines to the ceiling.

Oh heck with asking the director questions. I think I'd really like to go and kick him in the shin. Hard.

Aren't those the typical poses you make during a Shakespearean soliloquy? Beaten

it's the same pose you'd make in any similar situation, you look up to a higher power. bishomon, buddha, Flying spaghetti monster, Zenu, ancestors, etc.
