Hi, I'm new to Jdoramas, so I kind of have this silly question to ask

How come the JDorama titles are all translated by how it sounds like? Why not translate them by meanings like what they did about Korean Dramas?

Though I hate to say this, this titles are confusing and take time for newbies to get into this. LOL

Well, most are just direct translations of the Japanese title. Some are not. The ones that aren't are usually given English titles by the producers. If the producers don't give it an English title. who else is going to?
