I was wondering if Ueto Aya's Drama's, such as these, are available on DVD for people outside of Japan:

- Hotelier
- Attention Please
- Attention Please Special: Hawaii, Honolulu
- Attention Please Special: Australia, Sydney
- Celeb to Binbo Taro
- Kou Kou Kyoushi 2003

I love all these, and would like them on DVD. If anyone can help, arigato!

P.S.

Obviously not Smile

This shouldn't have it's own topic anyhow... should be merged with the Aya thread.

You won't find much better video than what's available online, even if you pay a fortune. And of course, there are no official release with English subtitles. The official boxset can be purchased at amazon japan, but no one on a normal income can really afford them.

You can find most of these on Live Journal. It is a free forum.
You have to register first or you will get a not found error:

Here's Celeb To Binbo and you can also find Attention please in the listing on the left side:

http://community.livejournal.com/asian_doramas/tag/celeb+to+binbo+taro

These are in AVI format. You can then convert them to DVD.

Not really. You only have the choice between the (super expensive and without subs) japanese originals
or some few official chinese DVDs (with chn subs)
and bootlegs (with various subs)

Best choice is to buy the original (if you can afford it Wink ) and download the subbed fansub version to watch.
Only western release DVD is Azumi movies

I have seen all the drama's by downloading them, that's not the problem. And I can definitely burn them on DVD, no problem either.

The problem is that I would like the original DVD's. It makes me feel like I really own them. Therefore I asked this. But if it's not available for a nice price, then I'm gonna have to stop looking Big Grin

Thanks for all the replies!

Unfortunately not really. There are only Japanese originals and those donLt come with any subs. Plus they are very expensive. A DVD box, like Attention Please for example, costs about $200
