Not yet!

LOL @ beemer, JDorama Advocate to the Nations.
I'm still in the middle of a couple of K-dramas, after which I'll be watching JIN next, then mebbe VOICE and a couple more before resuming my Tsuyoshi Quest 2010. I don't want to jump into KOI NO OCHITARA right after NINKYO HELPER because it might color my viewing experience. Fair enough?
Thanks, gaijinmark! I actually considered giving it a try when I embarked on my Kimura project (because of his cameo, haha), but decided against it, telling myself then, "meh, it's only Tsuyoshi so why bother," lol. (I can't believe I waded through pig-men and monkeys and desert treks and papier-mache caves just because Kimura was in SAIYUUKI, and didn't even give II HITO a shot, tsk. ) So yes, now that I have seen the light, that drama goes back on queue. Yay.

Our cast listing is a little misleading. All the SMAP guys are in it, but they all have very brief cameos. Blink your eyes and you'll miss them.
The thing about Kimura's cameo is, he was doing Gift at the same time that Ii Hito was being aired and he shows up in character on his bike.

It shouldn't color your observations at all, I think... Unless Ninkyo Helper made THAT much of an impression on you, at least from Kusanagi's role...

I haven't seen GIFT yet, but the way you described it is just too funny!

I still think Kimuya is the best, but Kusonagi is not bad either. |
You should check out Kusanagi in Koi ni Ochitara... He's really good in that, as is the entire cast.

Another recommendation: check out Yui-chan in Muri na Renai... She really shines in the drama.

All I gotta say is this:
(So did you sing along to "All My Soul"??? You did, didn't you? Admit it!!! )
Next stop on the Tsuyoshi Love Train: KOI NI OCHITARA

You should... I'm really selective about what I watch, which is why my posted drama list isn't nearly as huge as some others.

I guess our motto is "less is more".

Yes.
The less space the dramas take, the more room for my Clapton stuff.
