Yes, to my suprise, its story getting better with each ep. really enjoying it and i did not think that i would be looking forward for next ep by end of each one, but i do.
Not much for Yamapi (or any other Johnny boy) with his shirt off though. i liked them fully clothed. i think they look much better that way. _________________

, It's just going unexpectedly very well. loving the story and the romance and i hope that they keep basketball to minimum. _________________

And the balling is pretty bad on top of that, ne?

I think it's c**p. If you're watching this because of the basket scences (and the nauseating pink team shirts), it's probably a good idea to drop out.
@Takoyama, I would love to see a live action Slam Dunk. Any rumours?

Glad that you like it but maybe you could add spoiler tags for the ones who haven't seen the 7th episode.

I haven't heard any rumours however, I was watching a ranking show on TV and no. 1 for most wanted manga adapted to live action was Slam Dunk. So maybe we'll get our wish.

Tomohisa SAMA - i take back every shitty thing i've ever said about you!!! |
Remember: a good on-screen kisser does not necessarily make a good thespian. We don't exactly want to see AV actors sweeping the Academy Awards now, do we?
But I'll admit, those last two and a half minutes did have me going dokidoki Episode 8 had me on cloud 9 for much of it too. Yamapi hasn't had such chemistry with a female lead since Nobuta wo Produce!
As for the rest of the drama, it's actually shaping up quite nicely. The characters are fairly well developed, the plot is ridden with cheesy moments but they have you giggling (or at least smiling idiotically) rather than gagging, and the acting ain't half bad. Yamapi's doing okay; I feel like he embodies the nuances of his characters well, but when it comes down to the really emotional scenes, he's really lacking...Kitagawa Keiko and Kanjiya Shihori both shine in their roles though The only thing close to an acting atrocity is Mizobata Junpei. He's as cute as a button but he's such a sugar-high sycophant here! Boy needs to calm down.
I'm looking forward to episode 9, but I wonder if there'll be a delay now that Yamapi's sick

Let me guess...the basketball scenes down another 10%.

I'd like to see AV actors play some ball against the JC Arcs.

That would put it in the negative, ne?
