Great news:

I just got a script file from a software person (who would like to remain anonymous) that will allow me to rip the subtitles from the viikii.net site...

I just need to test it out and make sure that the subs will sync up with the D-Addicts video releases....

Not necessarily.

All I have to do is merge all three sub files together and check the timing... It shouldn't be too bad if viikii.net's video and D-Addicts are from the same source.

I don't really get it. Are the subbers at Viikii the sole producers of the subs, or can't some other person or group do their own subbing? Yes, I can understand the problem with having too many different versions, but if it comes down to having to ask permission to release subs then I think that's a little ridiculous.

Anyhow, I finally got the first episode, and I watched a little bit of the beginning sans subs. Juri-chan seems to have quite a quirky role in it, but I have no idea what really is going on.

Strangely, none of the regular D-Addicts groups are touching this drama for some reason...

Seeing that it's only five "chapters," only 25 or so minutes, and stars one of the hottest (literally and figuratively) actors around, you'd think they'd be crawling over each other to sub it....

I'll NEVER figure them out.

What, is Juri-chan too hot for the regular groups to handle?

While I do appreciate groups taking the time to provide us with subtitles, it's things like this where I don't think I'll ever understand how fansubbing works.
