finally i can post here. i have watched the first six episode of the drama yay!
so far, i'm loving it. kind of like the story line and i can't wait to finish the entire series. there were parts which i think was rather sad though.
for some unknown reason, nakatani miki and uchino masaaki attracted me quite a bit in the series. nokaze is great with her acting!

There are many posts on d-addicts in the Jdramas discussion section. Lots of interesting thoughts from people who were fascinated by the time travel aspects of the story.
Osawa Takao is now doing another drama so I guess they won't start the JIN film until late summer.

Nakatani Miki is a great actress. I've always enjoyed her acting

i have only seen her once in densha otoko movie, just rewatched the movie so i sort of remember her. but the feel she gives off in JIN is completely different!! which is what surprises me cause it simply shows how good she is.

Check her out in Memories of Matsuko. She won many awards for her portrayal in that movie.......

the manga itself isn't finished yet, maybe that's the reason.
TBS denied about the movie even though the news was out in japanese media about JIN being made into a movie in 2011 as a respond to fans' request
I'm still hoping for season 2 though, or at least an SP to finish what's left behind in the final episode
ahh no wonder. i was so rooting for him and nokzae/miki!! (sorry i don't know if i can post spoilers here)
i am hoping for a season two too, this is not enough!

Just wondering if anyone felt as I did that the doctor held a strong passion within himself that only touched the surface when he was with Nokase. It was definitely not there with Saki. He liked Saki and was grateful for her help with the medical side of things.
It was only the happenstance of the fire that prevented a much more interesting outcome I think.

I couldn't agree with you more Peggy
even though we don't get to see the interaction between sensei and Miki or there aren't many sensei-Nokaze scenes together, or the scenes where we get to see how they express their feelings, somehow by looking at Sensei's expressions it's clear that he only loves Miki, and how desperate he feels inside every time he meets Nokaze.
I have nothing against Saki, but just like you said, there's only Miki in Sensei's heart. Yes, he did like Saki, but it's more to being grateful me thinks
this is the scene that I find really beautiful and moving, yet I can't help feeling bitter

i love this scene too! it is very moving and i think i feel nokaze's love or helpless in her eyes. this is awesome one of the scenes which touched me the most in the drama. *saves the image*
i do think he feels gratitude for saki, more of that than love. jin also mentioned that saki is young enough to be his daughter right? that's the not point i guess. then he sort of reacted differently when he found out about saki's feelings and the scene in the last episode where he told her to stay was?
i am pretty sure he only loves miki though. not only nokaze is the splitting image of her, their character are so similar so that's why he was attracted?
i still have a lot of questions to ask for this drama!
like is nokaze really the ancestor of miki?
who was the guy who really sent jin back?
etc.
