you can expect a smaller version of the real thing...without the fireworks of course.....games, food, bon-odori....it doesnt matter if you dont noe how to dance, there will be ple ard to teach you and the steps are quite simple.....there are japanese who would wear yukata ...but in case u dont own one, i THINK u can rent it for a nominal fee (bt not sure if they rent out the yukata this yr)

Nice!!! Lucky you guys to have a festival like that! We don't have anything like that here. At "festivals" all they do is drink and go crazy, nothing else Sad Sad, very sad! Festivals, reason to drink.

yes it is opened to public
basically all transactions are made with coupons which can be bought at 6 dollars. this booklet includes the entry tics and 12 'do-as-u-please' (sorrie i still cant find a good english word to translate into) coupons...act they also have 'main food' coupon bt this kind of coupon will not be sold on that day other kids of food with the 'do-as-you-please' coupon ..it is only sold during the pre-sale..but still u can get to buy other kinds of food

If I'm not wrong they're still renting out yukata this year on a first come first serve basis. Just need to buy a coupon for cleaning fee.
