Probably cause da new game keep coming and they are busy playing it not to mention if they have different type of console

yup im a fan but not as hardcore as u are.. i think the game i like the most was FF9 n FF10 - maybe bec. its the first rpg i ever cried with the ending, ff8 was ok.. but i do have the original soundtracks too but just the piano collections, i even got all the music sheets too

For all ff fans, Shinyaku seiken densetsu (sword of mana) has just been released on the GBA. It is a remake of the original FINAL FANTASY ADVENTURE (seiken densetsu 1) on the original gameboy... wonder how many have played that great game anyway i have heard its a great game... worth a rom dl at least

Still waiting to get FF XI nowadays just being busy updating the player on Winning eleven 7.......It is so addicting u know collect all the real player to the club we love.................FORZA INTER!

FF9 is for the original PS .......so you can play that...but i didn't like ff9 that much there was just something wrong with it

Yup! It was unveiled a week ago. PS3 prolly out in 2005-2006. We'll see if it meets its expectation and hype! You know much Sony has hyped the machine from "the surface to the sky"! Just like PS2, *LOL* Super efficient gaming machine by the specs back then, the nearer release date got the more specs were changed to a negative direction!
I only believe when I see the machine runnin with my own eyes. In the meantime I enjoy playin VF Evo on my modded ps2. Plays import games as well!

damn! im only using the old psx and ps1 at least.. sheesh! why do they keep coming up with these things?! now i feel as if ps1 is some kinda old fashion nintendo (like they used to call family computer) or atari!

y cant all the games i wanna play compatible to the old ones. at least this ones backward compatible.. ill just ask my bf to get it

I hope the new Nintendo and Microsoft consoles are backwards compatible. I don't have enough room to keep my Xbox and Gamecube hooked up when the new consoles come around. Unless the PS3 can be set vertical, I probably won't have room for that either.

Hehe! since you have an uber comp, it's not necessary to play console games. I've this +3 yo comp which is not suitable for the latest sfx games! I use pc for surfin, watch movies and dramas and sometimes CS. PS2 is for gamin! I have a lot unplayed games, too lazy, hehe!

Nope, didn't play FF Tactics on PS, too lazy, as always

As for the best RPG I'd have to say Chrono Trigger!!! The story is absolutely fantastic, characters by Akira Toriyama, the battle system is good, events were enjoyable, music by Yasunori Mitsuda *hands down*! I love this game!

I can't wait to play a sequel to Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross and as well as Final Fantasy 6. I've had both games for 2 years, still haven't played em.

Final Fantasy Tactic Advance on gameboy is out. Thinking about buying it.

If xbox2 is backwards compatible the chances are most games wont run properly

M$ are changing from nvidia to ATI for the graphics chip which could cause problems with a lot of games

Thats the whole reason i bought this GBA SP a few days ago (although I bought zelda as well)

Also buying a gamecube and a import FF Crystal chronicles next week
