Sorry guys my mistake i just drove back from Gamestop and they say it will be out tomorrow. I thought it was today since their website say it was out on the 18th.

so good!! I think I have to wait until next year then can play FFX-2 as the international version only will be release next year

Ahh... I'm crazy about the FF series... But then again I don't even have a PS2.

i heard that they are releasing a directors cut-ish ffx-2 in japan. is that going to eventually be available in the states? if so, i might wait until then to get it. i'm a sucker for directors cuts, box sets, etc.

LOL well dude i feel the same way. It all about the emotional attachment to the character and the great epic story line. I have been waiting for it for about two years.

According to the reviews the game is the weakest of the FF series. Weak reviews received. I have no plans to get this game, I haven't played the first one either, too lazy. Have had the game since it was released.
Gotta play the 6th installment someday.

i couldnt bring myself to complete ffx-2. somehow it was just boring, and the characters all feel like computer graphics instead of characters to me. Definitely the weakest ff so far IMO. Though i haven't played ff11 yet though

I just got it and I have to tell you Im loving the battle system and changing jobs/costumes during battle. The story is also a bit wierd and puzzling but its great seeing the Final Fantasy X world again.

I'd like to hear other peoples opinions who got the game ^_^

I just got mine as well along with the stategy guide. look like am going to be staying up late for the next week or so.

They said the same abou 9 and 10 and they are both HUGELY popular - and with good reason

i tough FF9 was soooo ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZzzz, i mean the story is just insane! and the main hero HAS A FREAKING TAIL what is he suppost to be a monkey?!?

Beaten all except post ffx, ff3 (for the original nes), and ff8 (cause it bored me to death). I'll probably have to buy a ps2 again to play and beat this (had a ps2, beat ffx [which I still own], then returned it, lol), though I may keep the ps2 this time... then I'll have to buy a TV to play the ps2... gaming gets expensive, lol ^^

Just got the game a few hours ago. So far, I'm puzzled by the story, but I like the whole dresspshere during the battle.

Hope the storyline gets a little bit better. I wanted the limited edition strategy book, because of the artwork book they included in it. Too bad, I didn't have an extra 30 bucks.

I played the Japanese version of X-2 and I wasn't too impressed with it. The dress system is a nice change but I expected better graphics than the original and I didn't see that. This game is easy compared to other FF's (that's what I thought about FF10, too in case you want to gauge what easy means to me). I just made one super healer, two super attackers and it was smooth sailing.

Oh, in response to previous posts here.....FF8 was my favorite out of all of them (but I seem to be in the minority ) and I thought 9 was boring and 10 was okay.

I do like ff8 its the first one to have characters that doesn't look like cartoon. But if i was to rate which are the top three i would say FF3 , FF10, FF7. I can't make a judgement call on FFX-2 yet.

Hehe I picked up the limited edition strategy guide (i dont plan on using it till my second time through) The art book is just awesome!
