Hey Wyn-chan, do you reckon you'll still be a gamer in 20 years time, assuming you still have time to play?
I can only imagine what the games will be like by then
I'm pretty sure I still will be. I don't usually tire of something I really REALLY enjoy!
And the games in 20 years?! I have NO idea what those would be like! I mean, with the Wii we already have the interactive element with the video games. It'll be interesting to see what comes next. I can't wait! _________________

My interst in games started off when I got my first Atari computer when I was 21. (!) It had 16k ram (expandable to 64k! The expansion was about the size of a pack of cigarettes), and no hard drive. It came with a tape drive for loading games, took about 20 mins to load a game. And there was no RPG's back then. You could make your own games, though.
It also had a cartridge slot for cartridge games... like Space Invaders
Games have come so far since then... I can't wait to see what they are like in 20 years

Is this why you weren't on much yesterday? _________________
Awwwwww! I'll bring my console over when I move in to become your wife's apprentice.
Last night I played for about two hours and I'm STILL in that Mysterious level. It's so long! I'm only on floor 5 and I'm pretty sure there are about seven/eight floors. I have to find seven pieces of soul, you see. _________________

Sounds fun!
I actually got to play a bit of FFX last night. But of course there was no save spot before the part where I died, so I have to re-do it all again
The graphics are great though. Especially after Legend Of Mana

I hope to finish FFX one of these years. I just stopped almost at the end because I wanted to do side quests and one of them really pissed me off (the lightning one, iirc) and I just lost interest in it. Also, it didn't help that I gave my PS2 away a few years ago, but I got another one last year. If I had all the time in the world, I'd play it over again. And I still want to finish Tomb Raider Anniversary. I think I'm rehashing stuff I said in a previous post. _________________

I know i'm a lot late, but the PS2 is awesome (In comparison to the PS1). So, I reckon i'll be getting a PS3 a year or so after the PS4 is released

Alright, I've resisted posting in this thread thus far, but now everyone seems to be talking PS2 (my console!), I've gotta stick my nose in!
Sadame - a welcome from me too! I've got God Of War 2! From the little I've seen, it looks great. It's the best graphics of any game I've seen on PS2 - I couldn't believe it when I got the game for myself.
Shadow Of The Colossus! I had that, then resold it, because I wasn't too keen on loads of boss battles - even though the monsters looked fantastic.
Cori - Tomb Raider Anniversary - argh! I was getting throught that, but then I had to get rid of my save, as it was useless. I made a mistake that could not be rectified. Grrr.
Have you played TR Legend? I'm on the final boss - Amanda - but haven't managed to beat her yet.
I'm currently playing Psychonauts - a superb, inventive platformer.

I'm on St. Francis Folly right now and I have been on that stage since, um, at least 4 months now. It's just that I have no time to play it. Maybe I should make time to finish it. And I *HATE* the way the saves are. I wish they could go back to the original TR saves. That way if you screw up, you can go back to the beginning of the level and not start the whole game over again if the save is bad.
And as for TR Legend, I haven't gotten that. I read that it was a really short game and easy because it was so linear. Is it good though? I've seen mixed reviews, so I'm not sure if I want to get it if it's going to be sitting around for a while. _________________

Almost! I should be done Eternal Sonata by Wednesday, if not sooner. Then I'll jump on Oblivion.
If I don't get the Xbox falcon by the 26th, I'll just keep the one I have to set up the online account. Then you and I can play.
Was the only multiplayer game you had Marvel: Ultimate Alliance? It'll be interesting to see how you progress through Oblivion though. The world is so detailed you could probably write a travelogue of your adventures. _________________

TR: Legend is a fun, quick game. It's fairly easy, although a few of the bosses were challenging. Amanda was quite an irritating boss. Took several tries to get the timing, etc, right. But it is very short; I managed to finish it in 12 hours (not in one sitting). My averge game, usually RPGs, generally take me over 60 hours.
I could have sworn that TR: Anniverary allowed you to restart a level, but I could be wrong. The thing that I hated about TR:A was that on some levels there are some insane jumps to be made. But if you missed, you had to go do 10 jumps to get to the one you died on, only to die again, and retry... I wish the game could put you at right before the fatal jump. There was one jump, I think it was in St. Frances Folly, that took me 1 hour to trying and retrying, and cussing.
