Personally i like FF8 the most. I don't think any RPG on earth will ever replace FF8 in my heart as the most artistic, romantic, beautiful game ever made. It was more than a game to me. It was an experience. Up till now i still think FF8's ending was the best and most fufilling ending ever made for any RPG. It was simply beyond words. You simply have to play and complete the game and FEEL it for yourself.
cant wait for FF12!!!

Cool! another FF8 fan....that's the greatest!!! at times it could be the world's most beautiful silent film!

i can't wait for FF12 either....not looking foward 2 much to FF11 Nut

Dunno if this is true or not. I have read an article about Sony Europe's internet plan long ago. The reason behind the postponement of the upcoming FFXI and internet gaming in Europe was due to the internet infrastructure in the UK. the UK's internet was behind the other EU countries back then. The UK is the 3rd largest videogame market in the world.

Sounds right but i think it has more to do with the smaller (but still hugely popular) target market, coupled with the HDD,net adapter and subscription cost meaning lower sales.

Combine with the cost of at least 5 different langauge versions to make (the english language conversion takes only a few days from the american - or it should at least ) and the time it would take.

Making a profit in europe would be difficult

But square-enix have also said they will do their best to incerase the number of european titles and decrease the conversion time (unlimited saga was due for the end of the year a while ago Smile )

The old square-europe was notirously bad for good releases

Im not sure if the movie was really Americanised as it was done by the Hawaii branch of Square (which does cutscenes for the games) and sakaguchi-sn was in charge

hoping for sites with actual user feedback n reviews too, so that i can gauge how good a game is before buying it. Cos sometimes i see those anime based games out there... but wonder if they are cheap productions and have sucky gameplay or something, so mostly end up not buying...

You refered to import game review sites. I used to know a few HC import gaming sites, but haven't visited the sites for years. Not able to remember. Gamefaqs has a huge archive of readers' reviews on import games Smile Too bad they don't offers pics.

gamefaq is not too bad... but still.. not too good. Especially for dating sims and anime based games... since they are not that popular in the US.

haiz.. wonder why google cannot find? i wonder why the japanese dun haf review sites... so strange.
