I saw it aired on digital 44.1 one day (Saturday? Sunday?), but it had no subtitles.
So they air this in Japanese audio? Here in the Phil, we get Asian dramas dubbed in Filipino. And it really sucks. Just like what happened to Nodame. They killed Juri's voice and even the dubbing of "mukyaa~" and "gyabo~". What other Asian dramas do they air in America?

I went to my local Chinatown in SF. They already have the series on DVD with English subtitles. All the subs were good except for ep 10 & 11.
Quite fast. We still don't have it on pirated cds here. The latest was "Tsuki no Koibito". I wonder why it went first since Sunao was aired before TnK. _________________

Here in SoCal we have multiple digital stations that air Japanese, Korean, and Chinese dramas, news, and variety shows... Some have subtitles, some don't.

Finally was able to see the first episode. Anybody else get the feeling they're trying to do another Last Friends where every character has an issue and are thrust together to resolve them? Except with Last Friends, most of the characters were actually interesting. Other than Nakaji and Haru, every other character was pretty much forgettable. Juri-chan and Eita seemed to have switched their Last Friends roles, where this is likely her meekest, most feminine character and he's playing someone more confident and masculine. Besides them, I could care less about the Korean girl, Mr. Peach Fuzz, and Ms. Preggers. They seem to be just your standard caricatures on a drama checklist.

I think that was one of my first impressions on page one or therabouts...

Again, you're spot on with my earlier observations.
And like Last Friends, one viewing is (sadly) enough.
