Well, for me if you sum it up, it makes Ruka gay. You can also say that Linda has a gender identity disorder as Ruka because the time when he had this moment with Peach and her boss, he was disgusted. And looking back to Ruka, she never had an interest in males. |
Ruka was never 'diagnosed' as having GID. That's just what she thought after reading some book. We never heard what her therapist thought, but he didn't seem sold on GID. She had one or two of the hallmarks, such as dislike of her own feminine body, but that might just make her a 'butch' lesbian. I personally thought it was more likely that she was gay. But please understand that gay is about sexuallity, GID is a disorder involving body identity - it's about feeling you're in a foreign body, not anything to do with who you're attracted to. So to say Ruka was GID, we really needed to see more of her therapy, find out more of what she was thinking. But what we saw was her strong attraction to, and protection of, Michuru.
Nothing that qualifies as a medical disorder, if you ask me.

I know. But it's still annoyoying when (straight) people lump all those 'other' things together...

As expected, everything got neatly wrapped up with a nice, sentimental little bow... Though I wasn't disappointed with the final outcome, it took way too long: most of the middle episodes were predictable and frustrating to watch.
Considering the caliber of the actors involved, they deserved a much better script. |
Agreed. It was no Last Friends... <runs away>

That sounds more reasonable than Lady Gaga.

Lol, well not ASAP... The tidal pull of TSUKI NO KOIBITO feels pretty strong, so I'm doing that one first. (And you don't need to tell me that SnN is probably 2928737 x more watchable than the TraiNwrecK that is TnK, I know that already, thank you very much. )

LOL.
Sunao has a lot of problems, too, I'm sorry to say.
Oh, great review of Sunao at that link you posted, BTW... Witty, sarcastic, and quite funny... A protege of yours?
