Description:
Yuzu, a 23-year-old mentally disabled woman with the mind of an 8-year-old, falls in love with Sosuke, a man with a similar disability. After Sosuke is involved in a fatal accident, Yuzu discovers she is 5 months pregnant with his child. Though Yuzu is intent on having the child, her mother, Miyoko, is immediately against it. After her family comes to terms with her pregnancy, Yuzu eventually gives birth to her daughter, Himawari. With many odds against her, Yuzu does her best to care for the daughter she so dearly loves.

Watched ep 6....I can't remember when I've seen such wonderful character development in a drama...
Karina continues to amaze me...even though her character seems to be static, the little things she learns from one episode to the next are huge triumphs...
This is an excellent show...I can only imagine how much better it's going to be... _________________

I think this is the best drama of karina i've ever seen. she really impressed me with her acting. and the storyline is very good~~currently in episode 6 right now. and, Himawari is so kawaii!!

she did really good on that role

I watched this when it was aired last season... was wondering why no one was talking about this drama and there was no thread on it.
it's very touching and meaningful... i recommend u guys to watch it... _________________

I'm watching this drama right now and I can attest that it's one of the better dramas I've seen within the past 5 years that I've seen and it's very comparable to the old school dramas where it's focused on a story rather than silliness, flashiness, and/or idols. It's truly a down-to-earth story and very heart-warming and it had me crying in almost every episode. _________________

yea it shocked me too which is why i made the thread
this was really good it gives a different view of life some what i will say
