Just finished watching Episode 39.... Finally Go speaks out about her getting the short end of the stick from the Tokugawa powers-that-be. Also noticed what a hypocrite Chacha is: She's railing about the Tokugawa trying to usurp the Toyotomi, the same Toyotomi that she despised for making her and her sisters orphans.... Twice.

Just watched Episode 40 with English subs on local TV. Wow, that Fuku is portrayed as one selfish, manipulative bitch... Hard to believe that she would become Lady Kasuga and establish the Ooku. Likewise, Takechiyo is portrayed as a wimpy mama's boy to Fuku... Yet he would end up being the third shogun, Iemiitsu, while Kunimatsu would later become Tadanaga, disgrace himself, and commit seppuku. Seems like the writer got the two roles mixed up.

Done with Episode 41. Wow, Takechiyo is portrayed as one bratty, spoiled, little twerp... Representative of who raised him (Fuku). And Chacha/Yodo's paranoia/thirst for war is obsessive.... She's a psycho.

Just finished watching Episode 44. Boy, that Fuku is one manipulative, conniving bitch... And Takechiyo is still a little twerp. The final third or quarter of this drama has been really disappointing: Juri-chan isn't getting much screen time and when she is on screen, Go is either sobbing or being upset about everything happening around her. The writer seems to have run out of steam.

Part one of the final episode (#46) aired today... And I'd have to say almost 50% of the broadcast consisted of commercials. Part two next Saturday.

Broadcast is done. Second part of the final episode was much really: Flashbacks and a quick advancement of the timeline... Takechiyo/Iemitsu becomes Shogun, the Ooku gets established, etc...

Since d-addicts closed it's torrent section, maybe you can suggest another tracked with complete batch of this drama? I'm very interested in taiga drama, but it's really hard to find anything without d-addicts. :\
