Actually, I thought he expressed remorse when he killed that woman... I felt he didn't want to kill any of those people, but had to by orders.
Mhh, I think you're right.
They seem to mention the temple attack in episode 03, when Mitsuhide sits with Nobunaga's brother, Ichi and Gō... so the eng.subs will surely put light on that.

The scene with the Jesuit(?) priest and Go is pretty funny... And Juri-chan plays it perfectly, I think.

Yep, especially Gō's curiosity and playfulness in just trying out a chair.

We don't have them here, but apparently they were quite popular in the Sengoku era before Japan closed its borders...

It was very popular because of the toy surprise inside.

Though if Juri-chan were only eight years old and was already 5'-6" she'd most likely be well over six feet tall as an adult and could join the WNBA.

Nobunaga ordered Ieyasu to kill his own wife and have his son commit seppuku. That was the happy letter containing that order. Gō, aftrer hearing of this incident, wants to find out Nobunaga's motive ...because she didn't have access to wikipedia.

Then she should sign up for FIOS internet service.
Nobunaga appears to be quite brutal and merciless... Like in Macbeth , it'll all catch up with him.

Or consult the Taiga narrator...
*kotsuzumi beat*
AOI Tokugawa Sandai : o-Gō
*record scratch*
... but then again, Gō did ask Ichi (who is the narrator).

The opening narratives, always informative and often hilarious, were just one of a host of reasons why Aoi Tokugawa Sandai was a great Taiga.

Translating this episode probably will take 10 years out of my life...ok maybe 5 XD.
Good grief there are so many deep lines from Soeki and Nobunaga that took me a while to digest, especially because of the way Soeki speaks.
I should be done with it by the end of the night (U.S. time).
Happy watching Gou!
Soeki?
Anyways, ganbatte... And thanks for the status update!

Thank you and I meant Sen no Soeki (later Rikyu), the tea master.
