What you said about Legendary Wars is true, however I'm not really satisfied if this keeps going on. I am satisfied with Gokaiger alone, since they have been good so far, but when they henshin to old heroes, they seem to fight hard-assedly. And old sentai appeareances seem to be half-assed too, they just appear in one or two scenes.

About the sub, there's another fansub group that sub Gokaigers as fast or sometimes even faster than GUIS, they are called overtime fansub.

I thought I would talk about the upcoming Gokaiger movie, which was originally scheduled to air on May 21st but has been pushed back due to the earthquake to an unspecified date. To be honest, I don't know why they have to postpone it since the original date was already 2 months out.

Anyways, it's actually going to be a team-up movie with the Gokaigers and the Goseigers. The Goseigers will actually get to transform. Perhaps the Gokaigers temporarily give them their powers back or maybe they got some back-up powers from somewhere. Genta (Shinken Gold), Chiaki (Shinken Green), Saki (Go-On Yellow), and Satoshi (Bouken Red) will also guest star, but it seems they won't be able to transform. Meanwhile Umeko (Deka Pink), Oume (Denji Blue), and Ryou (RyuuRanger, a.k.a. the red ranger from DaiRanger) are apparently suppose to make cameo's in the movie.

^Yes, it airs every Sunday morning in Japan. They're on their 35th season now, Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. Fansubs are usually available within 3-4 days.

Long time haven't posted here due to school stuffs ^^ This time Overtime fansubs did really good job with subbing gokaiger 7, they subbed within 24h of it being broadcasted. I personally enjoyed Gokaiger 6 despite not having any old sentais appeareances, downloading and watching Gokaiger 7 now ^^

And I'm excited about the Gokaiger movie!

Yeah Episode 6 was really good. I liked it a lot.

Also, Grown Ups in Spandex subbed Goseiger vs Shinkenger. Despite a couple corny jokes and the Goseiger's crappy mecha design, it's a pretty good team-up. There's some good interaction between the two team's characters, something that at times gets left behind in team-ups, and some good action as well.

Aah I feel the same as you, Doc is the only character I don't like that much so far. Everyone else are good, my brother actually said the same about Doc reminding him about Sion. Sion is a "scientist"/intelligent type as well and not so good at fighting, but personally I liked Sion.

I'm starting to like Luka aka Gokai Yellow more and more, Gokai Red have been good from day one. Blue and Pink are good as well. I'm downloading Goseiger vs Shinkengers right now ^^ I really loved Shinkengers and all Super sentai vs have been good so far.

Yeah I liked Sion as well. He's much like Doc except that Sion isn't cowardly. He has a bit of innocence about him, but thats because he's the youngest and his home planet was destroyed. Speaking of Sion, I really like the Timeranger cast. One of the stronger casts ever, and the writer for Timeranger, Kobayashi Yasuko, also wrote Shinkenger. She does really good with characterization and darker, edgier plots.

Yes we were discussing about Super Sentai with my brother last weekend and we agreed that Timeranger cast is so good. Can't say I particularly like anyone because I would just end up naming them all. I also loved the music there and the villains, beginning and ending was epic too.

Not many Sentais are on par with Timeranger, talking about great casts, I particularly am a fan of Dekaranger of course, Boukenger had a decent cast as well and that's about all, yeah and Shinkenger had really nice cast as well, even though I feel like ShinkenBlue gets annyoing sometimes while my brother said everyone except ShinkenGreen was good. And we both agreed to that ShinkenGold wasn't that good.

After all good cast have alot to do with the show, since I skipped Gaoranger and Goseiger just because the cast didn't please me that much. But I'm glad Gokaiger has a nice cast so far ^^ Looking forward to their 6th ranger if there's going to be one, something like Gokai Pirate heh.

Yeah I definitely agree that a good cast is almost a must for a good Sentai series. Zyuranger for example, I find really hard to get into because other than Burai, the rest of the cast is really boring. Burai is a great character, but when the series doesn't focus on him it's really hard to sit through the series. Goseiger is another such Sentai where the cast is boring and bland. I haven't seen Gaoranger yet, but that's next on my list after I finish Jetman. That said, there are a couple Sentais where a good story, good villains, or both can definitely make up for weaknesses in the cast, such as Magiranger and Gekiranger (although I like a couple Gekiranger characters).

Along with Dekaranger, Shinkenger is actually the only other Sentai that I like all of the characters. Ryuunosuke can get annoying at times when he doesn't know how to shut up, like the first 15 minutes of Goseiger vs Shinkenger, but I liked him in general. I liked how loyal he was to Takeru, and how he always wanted to do the right thing.

I also like the Boukenger cast as well. There's not a lot of story in Boukenger, but I think the cast really does a good job of carrying the series.

Plan on finally starting JetMan tonight, too many regular dramas needed to be wrapped up. Shinkenger sounds good, gonna put that on my list, has anyone seen Engine Sentai Go-Onger? Muack

^I have. I think Go-Onger is good but not great. It's one of those series that's good if you're taking a break from the ordinary, or even some of those darker Sentais. Shinkenger though, is definitely better than Go-Onger, as well as Jetman. They both have a more complex story than Go-Onger and better villains, though I do like the cast and some of the gimmicks on Go-Onger.

I haven't seen Zyuranger myself, but I'm looking forward to watch it too. Burai seems a good character because Tommy from MMPR is my favourite as well. About Ryuunosuke I also liked that he showed alot of his Super Sentai Spirits and I think he never wanted to give up, always ready to fight, which made him not bad.

About Boukenger, I actually re-watched it 3 times already, not all episodes, but most of it. I agree there's not much of a story but seeing new "Precious" each episode was fun enough for me and the cast plus the villains and music were also great ^^

About Go-Ongers, it has it's good moments, but I wouldn't list it as my favourites.

I'm actually rewatching Boukenger for the 3rd time as well. I've been rewatching it because I'm thinking about experimenting with a video review on it, though I'm not sure. I'm through 20 episodes of Boukenger. I agree, most of the individual episodes are pretty good. The treasure hunting, the cast, and the villains did make it enjoyable. Plus I did really like the back-stories of Natsuki and Eiji. Dekaranger was much the same way. Episodic, but made interesting by the awesome cast, the music, the police motif, and plenty of well-written cases, as well as some really good subplots.

I'm thinking of re-watching Timerangers now as well, since our recent discussion kinda gave me an urge to watch it for some reason. I usually can't take sad endings, but ending of Timerangers was so good ^^

It's been a while since this thread was active, so I decided to update it. Recently, one of my favorite Sentais, Hurricanger, had its tribute episodes (25 & 26) on Gokaiger. It was quite a fun two-parter. One of only two Sentai teams (along with Goseiger in the first movie) that got to transform with the Gokaigers. Making an appearance in the Hurricanger tribute episodes was Nagasawa Nao, another Sentai babe whom reprised her role as Nono Nanami (Hurricane Blue). There was one part of the episode that briefly played her song from Hurricanger, Shinobi Koi. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlD-yLsoV8E&feature=channel_video_title

Here's some screenshots.

Was just thinking of looking for this thread, have an urge to watch another one, not sure which to pick, haven't seen anything past Justirisers, what's almost as good as DR which is hard to top. Victory! Peace!
