Here's a good review of the movie
A girl's guide to failing at love and destruction
among other things, it explains the term "Virgin Road".

I have to admit, the movie was slower than I expected from the trailer and the jokes are quite strange, but once I got over the expectations I enjoyed it and even watched it a few times.

I'd give it a 6/10... It's no Swing Girls or STMB... Or even Turtles.

As I first raised my view from the subtitles and saw this, I cracked up: considering the character, Fukuko's raincoat is hilarious.

No argue on Swing Girls and STMB, but I didn't like Turtles much - I didn't find the humor thaaaat great and because a couple "icky" jokes I gave it penality points

I didn't get Turtles after the first watch, but after several more viewings, I really warmed up to the kookiness, especially from Fuse Eri and Iwamatsu Ryo... Those two are a crack up.

The Terminator-ish music when Fukuko gets up uninjuried after throwing herself out af car when making the point "I can't even die". Or the fact that one of the "guys" who dumped her (presented in her introduction tango) was called Oscar and is a woman...

It's like the opening scene of the movie: didn't get it really, though Juri-chan was her usual adorable self.
