I'm still on Beautiful Life. Up to episode 8 now.
I'm enjoying it still, but I find it a little slow-moving.

for fellow dark dorama lovers, i suggest the new dorama of Kanno Miho & Itoh Atsushi, Watashitachi no Kyokasho.
it has a unique plot and the episode 1 is already depressing and disturbing.

Just finished "Nada sou sou" also knows as "Tears For You".

What attracted me to this movie was the title which also happens to be the song that made Natsukawa Rimi famous; After hearing her sing it in the Red/White contest I bought her album. And what do you know it's also the theme song for this movie.

The movie did not impress me due to

It was fun to see Masami Nasagawa in a leading role. I first met her in Sakura as Sakura's older sister. According to IMDB she also plays Aki in the movie version of Crying Out Love which as you know I feel is an abomination of a wonderful series in which Ayase Haruka is so monumentally above any other cloned performance.

Masami chan does a great interpretation of her role in Nada sou sou and it is the saving grace for this

The male lead was so forgettable that I can't remember his name and I'm too lazy to look it up.

Granny from Churasan also makes a cameo appearance which is appropriate since the locale is in Okinawa.

Did you run out of drama to watch or you just found them really good? A lot of people are here rewatching dramas and I'm having problems watching them once. I must have 60+ in my to watch pile. =T

Very good. Thumbsup

Few dramas/movies hold up to repeated viewings.

Nodame does. Smile

I just finished Kazoku.

http://jdorama.com/drama.1040.htm

A somewhat sad, occasionally heart warming story about the break up of a marriage, human growth, relationships, and you know... stuff.

Okay, it's a remake of the American film, Kramer vs. Kramer.

It's not a line for line remake. But all of the plot points are there. Fortunately they softened the wife's character a bit. I've never been able to stand Meryll Streep since seeing that movie.

Anyway... it's a well done, well acted series. Just not original, and not a lot of laughs.

But what the heck, it's only 8 episodes.

Hmm.

It's still on my HD, and I haven't burned a copy yet... Maybe I shouldn't. Sweat

BMW

It's a good series, for what it is. But if I had to bet on it, my nickle would say it's not your cup of tea.

Marienella

Dark or Fluffy, it stars Miho Kanno, and features Yoko Maki in a supporting role. So I gobbled it up the moment it was posted.

You may be right... Sounds a little too melodramatic.

i've watched it twice in 6 months... and if you remember anything about my watching habits, it takes me years to rewatch a drama.
