Lol. Oh, the sarcasm. Hehehe. I don't think I'm EVER going to show her any of SPAM's performances. I was so disillusioned the first time I heard them sing. *cringes from the memory*

I know what you mean. After watchiing actors in serious dramas, watching them perform in boybands is just so bleh And don't get me started with Matsudaira Ken. hehe

Oddly, some people who haven't seen it, refuse to watch it because it evolved from a Manga... But a ton of dramas have evolved from Manga, so what's the point? Head Scratch

maybe becoz a lot of doramas that evolved from a manga ended up being a total flop. Name it... Gokusen, Kurosagi, N's Aoi?? hehe

nah, but Iryu and Nodame proves that manga evolved doramas can be really good.

i think i'm gonna continue Be Nice to People...

I wouldn't call Gokusen a flop. Maybe not highly regarded, but it was/is very popular.

Gokusen 2, on the other hand.... bleh

There're lots of puns and cultural references that don't translate well into English (see one of the reviews in the Trick thread by a subber). I like the 2nd season the most; although the episodes are more of the whodunit type and thus easier to digest (ep. 3 is quite ingenious).

BTW, there're also 2 feature-length movies (not TV SPs).

The villian for epi 4-5 really freaks me out. Black lipstick really doesnt' do anything for him. Someone should tell him.

Yikes! Trick musta been extremely popular to have three seasons, specials AND movies.

Correction to my previous comment:

The review I referred to is in the 'Trick 2' thread, and by ep. 3 I really mean the 3rd story of the series, not the 3rd episode.
