Sou desu. Another one we agree on. I haven't seen the series, but I couldn't imagine Sawajiri Erika in that role after Yui.

It's actually really funny, once you get over the fact that the storyline is lame and the set up was terrible... |
Yup, it's lightweight and (despite lame plot) very easy to watch dorama .
I'm getting near the end of Ruri no Shima. _________________

I think I'll watch a few episodes of Churasan. I've been holding back and it's starting to hurt. |
I've been threading water in sympathy right along with you. Watching disc 29,30,31 over and over. Hope I did not make any more mistakes. It would be horrible to go thru this again. Now I'm listening to the words instead of reading the subs on those 3 discs. I can start to say some of the sentences in Japanese by rote.

Finished this drama last week. It is now added to my classics to be watched at least once a year shelf. Wonderful acting, scenic vistas, and great story.

Due to some minor technical difficulties I've had to hit pause on "Haken" for a few days.
To fill the time, I decided to watch "Vampire Gigolo" aka "Vampire Host"
http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Vampire_Host
What can I say other than; this will make me appreciate "Haken" all the more when I get to go back to it.
"Vampire" is a silly little piece of cotton candy. It's fluff. A comedy about a rather harmless Vampire (A J-Pop star no doubt) who works in a Host Club and tracks down monsters and mysteries with the High School girl who bullies him.

Sounds like a comic Japanese version of Blade.

Couldn't agree more ralph. This is another one of those underrated dramas that a lot of people missed the boat on. Hard to believe Riko Narumi was only about 12 or 13 when she made this. She's got a great future ahead of her.

I'm on disc 31 now. I'm trying to watch just one episode a day...

I finished it today. It IS an easy drama to watch. It wasn't good or bad. Too short to make much of it, but it had some pretty hilarious moments.
What should I watch next... _________________
