Right in the middle of episode 8 of Seikei Bijin ...

and completely upset that Honami rejected Ryohei. I've been rooting for him the entire series, it drove me nuts the first time he confessed to Narumi by accident- now this!
I thought I had my drama fix earlier, but now I'm compelled to finish the series while I have the time.

When I watched Seikei Bijin the first time, I finished it all in two days... During the work week.
I recall being rather sleepy at work those few days...
Haha.. that's always fun. I find it's terrible when you're studying though - it's impossible to keep awake.
Fortunately, my current job is exciting enough to propel me through the day, even if I'm pretty tired.
Though last night, I must have been really tired. I went to my room at 9, tumbled on my bed, poked my head up at 10, brushed my teeth, washed my face and went to sleep. And I slept 'til like 8:00 this morning..
My hours were really screwy while studying and after I took bar exam.. I was routinely staying up until 12:30-1. _________________

Some people are turned off by the romance between Honami and Ryusui... I think mainly because Ryusui doesn't fit the uber good-looking romantic lead that everyone is so brainwashed with...

Wow.. I'll really have to be careful with this one - every post you're making, the episodes are flying by
It's a good mix of silly and endearing- a very welcome change of pace from the DV related drama of another series I'm currently following.

Yeah, see I'm not a huge fan of Ryusui because I like Ryohei much more with the whole "third grade pigtail pulling turning into love"/unconditional acceptance thing, but Ryusui isn't a bad character per se. Their plot fuels the drama, if Ryohei had successfully confessed to Honami that first time and they hooked up- the rest of the episodes would be pointless.
Besides, he's the head of an Ikebana clan, not an underwear model- there's really no reason for him to be ridiculously good looking in the first place.

Ack, don't get me started on that...

I don't always go for looks, but I dislike Shiina Kippei. Mostly because in all the dramas I've seen him in, I have disliked his characters, either because he was the "other guy" or he wasn't a very likeable. And I can't seem to remember which drama/movie that people mentioned he was actually good in.
On topic: watched Daisuki episode 3. The mother-daughter conflict is really heart-wrenching at times. _________________

You pretty much confirmed my comment.
Wait, what do you mean? My love is Sano Shiro and Kohinata Fumiyo at a close second. Come to think of it, they're much better looking than Shiina Kippei, so I guess I am shallow. _________________

You're not shallow...You're right... Shiina Kippei's character in SB was a complete lump, looks or not...he had the personality of the dead plants he dealt with, which is to say none...symbolism, anyone?
PS...Daisuki! will just get better and better, if you can raise your tolerance for HIMAWARI!!...HIMAWARI!!! _________________

Yeah, the guy just has no personality in any of the dramas I've seen him in. I do not get why he still gets acting jobs because from what I've seen, he can NOT act. (Prove me wrong, someone!)

I'm already liking this drama a lot, so I'm looking forward to watching more episodes even though I sort of know what happens in the last episodes. And I don't mind her wailing HIMAWARIIIIII!!! all the time. Not really, anyway.. _________________

Yet Honami fell for him... The points being "Beauty is skin deep" and "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."
