I guess he was ok there. Maybe it's just the "other guy" syndrome that I disliked in that drama. Same thing with Kimura Yoshino. I usually love her in dramas, but I wasn't crazy about her as the "other girl." I just can not think of any dramas where I actually liked him in.

Side note: Other than cori's "On Topic's" (YAY!) this thread hasn't been on topic for the last two pages. Shake Head Beaten

Have you seen Shika Otoko Awoniyoshi ...

I can't come up with enough surperlatives for this show...

Ohhhh is this that deer-man drama? I've got two copies of it but I haven't see it yet.

On Topic: I've decided to go ahead with Shomuni 3 (sorry runpup, musa!). I heard it was a little different and definitely not as good, and so I'm afraid that if I don't watch it now, I won't get to it at all... considering my watch list. So I'm just gonna get it out of the way. Hopefully it won't be too much of a disappointment.

I don't think you'll be disappointed at all. I still gave it a 9/9.5. It's still way better than most of the crap they're putting out nowadays. (I'm starting to sound old. Beaten )

I love that about you. Muack I just hope I don't regret not taking your advice. Doh!

I'm starting epi 1 of Shomuni 3 now.

Wynter,

You haven't mentioned them, but I hope you're watching the Specials between seasons. They fill in some minor gaps. They're not absolutley necessary. Heck, it's Shomuni so you can come in just about whereever you want and still enjoy yourself. But they are good.

As for watching them all at once... who knows. It's how much you're enjoying them.

I spread them out simply because I had no choice. I watched Season 2 first when it was broadcast in San Francisco. Then a year later I found Season 1 while floating around on the web. And almost a year later I got copy of Season 3 and the Specials once I'd found JDorama.

That's probably why I never compare the seasons. Each one was a major treat for me when I finally stumbled across it.

Bah, I hated logarithms at school.

But I'm liking Churasan - I'l be getting to disc 10 soon, I hope. I watched a disc (5 or 6, can't remember now) on the weekend, plus an episode of Atsu-hime.

OMG! There are SPECIALS?! I'll have to totally hunt them down.

I watched season 1 and 2 back-to-back because I was enjoying the first so much I didn't want it to end. I think season 2 is my fav between the two, and because of this, I was a little hesitant to begin season 3. I don't want to be disappoint. Mind you, I'm not sure how I can be with such an awesome cast...

I'm 10 minutes into the first epi of season 3 now.

Yikes. I don't even want to look for that.

Wow. Ditto that. Also, I have to rewatch the first 2 Shomuni series one of these days so I can see Shiro in Shomuni 3.

On topic: Gonna start on episode 8 of Daisuki!! Wow, this drama's really pulling me in.

Wynter,

I can feed your Shomuni addiction. (For you too cori). I have all but the mysterious final special. Noone seems to have been able to find that one.

It's one of the great frustrations of my J Dorama life.

I found the final special on eMule, but with Chinese hardsubs and no English subs anywhere, so I deleted it...I just checked eMule again and it's no longer there...

A.D.

If I ever see it for sale with English subs... I'll buy it.

Heck I now have retail copies of seasons 2 and 3 just for the pretty video. One of these days I'll get around to combining the subs from my C grade TV rips with the good subs... and the video from the retail discs, and I'll be a happy Shomuni fan.

Tonight was Last Friends ep. 10 and Tsubasa No Oreta Tenshitachi 1 (ep. 4). Ho hum, both of them.

Good to get a nice Juri fixe tonight though Smitten - I'm good to start the week after a sadly short weekend.

Tomorrow I'll try to get in the first ep. of Seikei Bijin - and I'm looking forward to it Smile
