It's not that I don't want to watch them, it's just I wish I had time to watch the stuff on my queue. Instead, I'm watching the Jdramas that are on TV, because I want to edit the commercials out right then and there instead of attempting to edit stuff using the computer.

HAI! >>puts on her "give it your best" bandana<<

I finished watching Itazura no Kiss. It was a fun drama, tho I thought the ending was abrupt...

No further progress with Proposal, tho... Sweat

That would be the only reason why I'd want to be a teacher--the long vacations. Everything else about it doesn't appeal to me. Sweat

On topic, gonna watch Atsuhime later tonight. I think it's going to be the 23rd episode.

This was a totally lame drama. It doesn't get any better.

I watched the 3rd episode of Proposal.

Hm, I somehow like Dramas with Sports or Dancing as topic, I also liked "Dance Drill", but I think others find it pretty boring too... ^^

Recently finished Kimi Hannin Janai Yo, a dreck of a series.

That said, I was impressed by the performance of the lead actress--Shihori Kanjiya.

I remembered her from Swing Girls, but this is the first dorama I've seen her in.

This gal's definitely got talent, plus that ineffable ability that allows her personality to connect with the viewer. Juri Ueno may not be the only actress to come out of Swing Girls and have a big-time career.

I looked up Kanjiya's resume and saw that she played the heroine in the most recently completed Asadora, Chiritotechin. In it, her character wants to pursue a career in rakugo. Emi Wakui plays her mother.

Let's see: Kanjiya, Asadora, Wakui, rakugo . . . man, would I love to get a hold of this series.

I was planning to start on that drama today... Or not. Sweat

And I've still gotta start on Joshi Deka! as well. Sweat

Watched ep. 6 of 1 Litre of Tears last night - best episode yet. I think Ako (the sister) is definitely my favorite character - I really enjoyed her behavior in this episode.

I really enjoyed Kuitan episode 1. Laughed out loud a lot of times. But after that, the focus shifted from Kuitan himself, and I didn't find the following episodes very funny.

Keizoku episode 1

I haven't watched many detective stories, but this is definitely one of the best. The main characters are unique and interesting, and the case and plot twist are very original and surprising. The camera work is quite stylish, although it takes a lot of concentration to fully understand and make sense of it all. Looking forward to the next one. It sounds a lot like the American series Cold Case from the description, haven't seen much of that to compare.

Back on track.

I finished Kimi Hannin Janai Yo last night with some liberal use of the fast forward button.

A harmless if boring one trick pony of a show.

Since they were having the studio interns write the show to an old outline they found in someone's closet, they made a point of getting some pretty guest stars... but that was about the only reason I watched to the end.

I'm thinking 11 and 12 year olds might have liked it... if it was a choice between watching the show, and doing their homework.

As for Shihori Kanjiya... she might be okay. I'd be nice to see her in something worth watching.

On a side note... I shelved Onmyouji. When I got to the last disc in the set, and discovered there were 4 episodes on it rather than 3... it was just too much for me. Each episode was like spending 45 minutes staring into an empty bag.

Hmm.

I enjoyed the entire series quite a bit... And season 2 as well.

The only real disappointment was the SP.
