Just finished Ningen Shikkaku ep. 4
Wow, I thought it was kinda dark before- now its just messed up, but a gripping sort of messed up.

Though I have to say, that degree of bullying would have NEVER really existed in any school I've been in- and if it did it wouldn't have lasted long- there would be police, restraining orders and lawsuits.
The whole irony of Makoto's name is totally starting to sink in now- I'm dying for someone to believe the only character that's telling the truth.
This makes me want to read the book that inspired the drama.

I've gotten over halfway through Bengoshi no Kuzu! I don't know exactly what ep I'm on now because I had to stop midway to put on Mrs. Doubtfire for my cousin for the 50th time in the last week. Pretty funny and entertaining show. _________________

Up to episode 3 of Dream Again Which is a remake of Heaven Can Wait which was a remake of Here Comes Mr. Jordan. Not bad so far, I really wish they would let Sorimachi do a full blown comedy someday, I think he could pull it off. But given the penchant for type-casting I don't think it'll ever happen.
Well I was in a whole Nagase Tomoya phase (Tiger & Dragon, MBMH, Mukodono) But I decided to check out some Kimutaku dramas. So right now I'm watching Hero. Its fantastic.

Finished Bengoshi no Kuzu in two days!!! I think it helped that I was in my room trying to better organize the closet for a long time. Really enjoyed it. I think I'll watch a movie now. Don't know which though. _________________
A few episodes in, and I'm enjoying it. Having Rena Tanaka and Nao Matsushita in it doesn't hurt. But as I've been reminded lately... no matter how beautiful the girl, if the show is a dog, the show is a dog.
This one isn't.
One note: I haven't seen the Korean movie, so I'm not comparing the two.
I think that's worth mentioning because I remember the bad reviews Honey & Clover (the TV series) got from the people who had seen either tha anime or the movie before watching the TV show.
I really liked that TV show. But I saw the movie for the first time the other day and thought it was flat, boring, miscast and shallow.
I don't know what I would have thought of the movie had I seen it first. But because they couldn't go into the detail they had time for on TV... because I already had a picture in my head of who those characters were before seeing the movie... the movie simply didn't work for me. _________________

Watched Ep. 3 of Pride last night.
Seriously, Yuko is becoming my favorite too, Wyn. She's so cute! Every time she's on the screen I can't help but say "aww..."
So far, it's a pretty decent series.. the end of ep. 3 was really cute with them riding around on the Zamboni after having admitted that each wanted to spend a little more time alone. Cute. _________________

Overall, with the exception of 2 or 3 cases, I didn't find the deduction/crime solving especially interesting. What I found more interesting were the circumstances/psychological aspects during the murders and subsequent investigations.

That was with Chinese subs, no doubt. I've been looking for English subs, but d-addicts only has a few episodes.

I am currently watching Akihabara @ Deep.... Had this show on hold for a while, but I'm done soon.
Funny show, but whats up with the constant shouting in most of the scenes.
Also, is it just me, but does some of the cast reappear as different characters during the show...??

Up thru epi 6 of Dream Again. Liking it so far, it seems to be getting better. It was bothering me about the girl that plays Sorimachi's daughter, I couldn't place her, then I realized it's Mirai Shida from Queen's Classroom. To quote Jethro Bodine, "She done growed up!"
But between Shida, Riko Narumi and Suzuka Ohgo there's some very good young actresses coming up.
