That's what a lot of the 15 year old droolers thought it was gonna be after seeing the first episode. A lot of the comments were... "Is this gonna be like a Red Shoe Diaries sort of show????" Will there be a lot of nudity?

Turns out, it was a "Midnight Show" in Tokyo and she did the sex addict episode first to keep the TV bosses happy. Then when they weren't looking, she tossed the "boob sctipts".

I did notice a couple of stories making reference to her bodacious ta-tas.

You guys are making me sound like a perv Shameful Cry

Sure, she's gorgeous, and "ample", which doesn't hurt. But she's a damn fine actress Applaud

Good. I mean, I can appreciate a nice rack, but I'd rather not watch 12 episodes of them bobbing in my face.

          True. a little better...

OT: Shukan Maki Yoko ep. 2 & 3.

Ep. 2 was cool.(no pun intended). Ep.3 was just.... strange. I'll say one thing, Yoko-chan isn't just sticking to one genre in these short stories Bonk

          A.D.

Episode 3 of Shukan Maki Yoko was one of my favorites. 3, 6, 12, 2, 11 were my top 5.

The one that topped my strange meter was #8. I must have watched it half a dozen times as I played around with the words, and my reaction at the end never varied from a heart felt, "huh?'

To answer your original question, from Tokyograph:
Actress Yoko Maki has been given her first starring role in a drama series. The show, titled "Shukan Maki Yoko" ("Weekly Yoko Maki"), will air on TV Tokyo late on Wednesday nights (1:20am-1:50am).

For the television series, Maki will play a total of 12 different roles, such as a wife, a cabaret club hostess, and a high schooler. It has also been decided that Maki will perform the drama's opening theme song, marking her "debut" as a singer. The song will be included on the show's soundtrack.
Edit: I dunno, if it was somebody real good (no offense Maki fans) like Miho Kanno or Tomoko Yamaguchi, then I might be interested in something like this.

Now you guys are making me want to watch that Maki Yoko drama too. Not for the bodacious ta-tas/jugs/breasticles/whatever, but for the 12 different roles thing.

On topic: Watched the first episode of Haken no Hinaku (FINALLY!) and I thought it was ok. Kind of a superhero secretary type of drama that seems like it could be from an anime/manga.

I've been a maki fan since Tokyo Friends... but I can see what Musa is talking about. Still, if they chose her, clearly she IS real good.

Checking her profile, the only thing I've seen her in is Jikou Kesatsu and she must have been a guest star in one episode because she doesn't ring a bell. Head Scratch On topic: Finished ep 9 of Ring: Saishusho Shocked

I remember Chizuru Ikewaki from episode 2, Hiromi Nagasaku from episode 4 and Ryo from episode 9, but Maki, , , I'm drawing a blank so she must not have made much of an impression.
