"We were all Children Once" was the one where I skipped 3 episodes. I just had to know how it turned out.there was always the chance that the group of 3rd graders would rebel at all the sweetness and turn on their adult masters in a rain of gun fire.

As for "Hachi One Diver"... I think that one will go a lot faster. I've watched 3 episodes... and I think I'm about done. _________________

Sounds like I'll cross this off my future "to watch" list. _________________

I guess i'm in a good position in some ways, in that I still haven't seen a lot of the classic jdramas that everyone recommends. That means I can give a lot of the crap a wide berth for a long time

Anime Dad
To be fair to Minna Mukashi wa Kodomo Datta, I'm just way outside its demographic. It's a sweet, simple, little series about an elementary school in a small, almost vacant village... probably meant for an audience 50 or 60 years younger than I.
I'm just way too much of an old grump for a show like this.
And don't worry. The sub thing is still in the works. Though I don't envy whoever takes on the job of editing (translating) this collection of near gibberish.
As to Hachi One Diver... I stand by my original comments. It stinks to high heaven. _________________

Been awhile since I've been around here, life took me for a ride but now I can settle again and catch up on some dramas, yay!
First off, I've started my 3rd 'traditional annual' viewing of Last Christmas, since it sets the mood for the season and I happen to like the show. Second, I've watched the first half of the first episode of Bloody Monday, which I am definitely liking and hoping to get back to once I get home from work this evening. Third, I've got Innocent Love queued up for the weekend as well, seems like it has potential! Fourth, going to be starting some Salariman Kintaro in the near future, since I saw the 5th season starting up this year, I figured I'd oughta watch from the beginning.
Lastly, I attempted to start Oh! My Girl!!, but found it too boring for me to keep up after the first episode.

Thanks Geez. They couldn't be any worse than the ones for Top Sales
I watched the first two episodes of Last Christmas this weekend and quite enjoyed them.
Since this is an attempt to be seasonal and all, I think I'll try finishing it without getting distracted by anything else in between for once. (Not my usual method. Mostly I just watch one episode here of one dorama and one there of another, and then start on a third, and then I go back to a fourth one, etcetera and so forth, lather, rinse, repeat. So I'm usually in the middle of a dozen or so at once. And then end up taking forever to actually finish anything. )

In the middle of GALILEO, episode 5 or so.
Finished DRAGONZAKURA a few weeks back, keeping up with the KIKU crowd. Was aight, mostly due to Abe Hiroshi's classic monologue style. _________________

Watching Team Batista no Eikou ep 2. Should probably be doing homework instead. Just one more week of classes and then finals week.... _________________
