Based from other reviews and discussions, I think a lot of people disliked Mei-chan.
I get her tho'. She just don't want to bring down Usatan into her wishy washy world because she really does love him.
yeh i get wot she`s driving at....but i dunno, its just something about her?? _________________
Watching "Shinya Shokudo" now. Until it finishes its run, I wouldn't put this under "recommendation" thread.
So obscure is this drama that it's difficult to find further info on the web, as to date, that is. It kinda of slow.......sorry.....very slow.
It's all about an eatery owner who runs his eatery from dusk to dawn, attracting a range of regular customers and the plot hops from one customer to another. Refreshing for me because I'm sick of schools, police stations, airports, and hospitals.

And wow, Eguchi Yosuke really matured gracefully. No wonder he looked so good in Kyumei Byoto 1 two years later.
Dang, I wish I could say the same about Kimura. But I cannot lie.

Even though I'm not a big fan of Tamura and Masami Hisamoto is my #1 choice for "J-Ent person you'd most like to see dropped down a bottomless pit", I didn't think Concerto was all that bad.
Wow. Emotions running high in this thread. That's something I wouldn't even wish on MY leastest favoritest actress, Aibu Saki.

The whole "Narumi/Kakei" thing didn't start to wear thin in Asunaro Hakusho though.
"wear thin"? Made me throw up in my mouth is what it did.
OT:
BYAKUYAKOU Episode 7. Killer of a drama. (Please don't look at me like that, Yamada Takayuki, please don't. *chews on cutout paper dolls* )

I loved Concerto. It had an unusual plot. Not a typical cookie cutter romance.
I appreciated the end tremendously. Life is not a straight forward thing.
And I really enjoyed all the main leads in their roles. _________________

To follow that , I started Shomuni (ep 1 & 2 sofar) Kyono Kotomi would have been around 20 at the time, and is terribly cute The rest of the OL's are a hoot!

All 3 of the dramas in the Shomuni series are among my favorites. Don't forget about Naho Toda, she's the head of the secretariat.
OK...so The Swallowed Sun is on hold until more subs become available.
To fill in I started Satorare. At first it was really very silly. But after a while I started to get into the spirit of the story... hmm is this really a story? ... Well anyway, it's a very pleasant watch and will suffice to fill me in until I can get back to Sung Yuri... This is my first Tsuruta Mayu drama and she doesn't hurt the eyes either....
