No problem... You tried.
If the writers stayed on track with the story instead of trying to grab ratings with all that DV crap, the drama could've been pretty good.

I also found her acting very poor and slightly irritating however Juri and Eita were outstanding and I really liked Last Friends.
She was much more convincing in ProDai, imho _________________

Ima Ai ni Yukimasu? I started it. Got about two episodes in -- okay, one and a half -- and the one word that kept floating through my head as I watched it was... creepy.
Think it worked better as a film perhaps though a little creepy that was too. _________________

TOKYO DOGS Ep. 1: And that's as far as I'm ever going to go. What a perfectly good waste of Oguri Shun. It's not even Rat's Nest Hiro's character that annoyed me the most, it was Shun's--he's so manic depressive, and the stupid phone calls from his stupid mom felt stale before they were even introduced. (I remember Bruce Willis' character in The Fifth Element had a similar predicament, but his mother just called him like, twice in the entire movie instead of every bleeping minute, and those times were funny because they weren't being drilled into your face.) I'm throwing this stupid drama to the dogs. (But damn, Shun, you're so cute here... )
BUZZER BEAT (all of it, hahahaha): Ahahahahha YamaPecs strikes again!!! I liked how the romantic moments between YamaPi and Kitagawa Keiko were executed, but the rest of the drama felt so static, even the basketball action (what basketball action? doh). Oh, and I take back calling YamaPi's hair "shrubbery," because I finally discovered what that stuff on his head actually is:
"Oh look at me, look at me, I'm YamaPi. I wear cheese floss in my hair. I want to be strong. I'm a shooting guard. I have double-D pecs. I'd rather make French toast than French kiss. I want to be strong. The Aibu Saki droid can act circles around me. I go around with a giant eggplant strapped to my back. I'm YamaPi. I wear cheese floss in my hair..."

I started watching Hataraki Man ep. 1, but I just couldn't get into it...I stopped halfway through. I'll try again later. Instead I watched Ep. 2 of Shokojo Siera.

Um, I don't think I have the time to stick around and see if I'll grow to like this show, since I have so much catching-up to do in Jdoramaland. First episodes are really my litmus test, so... no dice, sorry.
But hey, I'm glad you're enjoying the drama now. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Hmm. Tend to agree with ye. There are just too many dramas available these days that I can be super selective... just want to watch endless dramas captivating from start to finish.
However, when certain actresses are involved, that rule will most certainly be waived... (can we say Kuninaka Ryoko for example).

You sure you don't want to give NOBUTA WO PRODUCE a try first? KUROSAGI (drama + movie) might just turn you off YamaPi for all eternity, lol...
Agreed. Nobuta wo Produce is the only drama where I find him tolerable (minus Dragonzakura & Lunch no Joou of course because both dramas are carried by other people). I actually thought (at that time) that hey, Yamapi has improved! LOL little did I know how disappointed I was going to be when watching Kurosagi a couple of months later. I was like, did he just revert to being his talentless self again? _________________

His Kurosagi performance was appaling....more so for the movie rather than the tv series but still awful.... _________________
