Keizoku SPEC episode one was great too. Ok the special effects are a bit 1999 (Matrix) but the angle taken is surprising. I agree with strawberryfzz, Toda is the weakest link but she has 2 great moments

Watched the first episode of Reinoryokusha Odagiri Kyoko no Uso. I went in preparing for the worst but it was actually pretty watchable. I think the cast really makes or breaks a crazy drama like this one, so they were smart to cast Ishihara Satomi and Tanihara Shosuke, both who know what they're doing.
Though the story is different, the whole feel of it kind of reminds me of Mop Girl...which happens to be a guilty pleasure of mine. It's kind of like they're bad, but in a good, entertaining way lol. I would watch this just for more awesome Satomi and Tanihara banter.
Also, I can't get over how flawless and gorgeous Satomi is:
It's an Odagiri Joe vehicle, written and directed by the same guy that did Jikou Keisatsu. One episode in and a bunch of the old crew have already made appearances... so it figures to be fun. _________________

Rewatching My Boss My Hero, episode 4, not a huge fan of the High School genre but this one is done so differently it makes it quite enjoyable.

Re MBMH: I think I bailed around Ep. 5 or 6. Nagase Tomoya was freakin' hilarious but I just couldn't stand Butterball. Hatessss!!!!! (Memo to self: at least try and finish the danged series. )

Just watched the first episode of Reinoryokusha Odagiri Kyoko no Uso. It was fun. Satomi was energetic and cute in character, I enjoyed her performance. The handling of the story in the second half could be better though, there were a couple of lines I found confusing.

Finished up My Boss My Hero again, like most dramas so much better the second time around, final 20 minutes prevented it from getting a 10. Finally started Otousan after about 4 months of saying it's next, up to episode 3, so far okay, now I can understand why Fukada is a big fave of everyone around here. _________________
