finally I watch Boku Dake no Madonna....somehow I thought I ever watched it before...
yup Kyoko is so pretty here... still in epi 1 tho..
It's not bad just had the potential to be so much better, viewers thought so too, ratings started out at 18+% and dropped all the way down to 11%. Kyoko is certainly pretty but Hitomi Shimatani is the beauty in it. _________________
Not much to recommend it, unless you're an Ueto Aya, or a Yamaguchi Sayaka fan.
I'm a Yamaguchi Sayaka fan myself, which is why I watched the series. And sure enough, she's still really pretty.
But the show? It's yet another version of the "Old Unsolved Cases in the Basement" premise, this time with Ueto as a rookie detective solving cases that baffled the veteran detectives of the Tokyo Metro Police.
The original Keizoku & Jikou Keisatsu were both (in my opinion) a lot better.

Hehe...i am a fan of Ueto Aya..for me i think this is really a good drama..also a detective drama solving unsolved cases, but what captures me is the scene especially in episode 1 and 10 really really touch me....somehow is much different on how they portrayed each scene, is not a glad or proud but thankful and so much sadness in solving those old cases....well giv it a try then.. _________________

I've just finished watching Zettai Reido myself, I quite enjoyed it, much more than Juunen Saki Mo Kimi ni Koishita. I was reasonably pleased with Aya Ueto's performance, I haven't seen many other dramas with Aya Ueto (Celeb to Binbo Taro, Attention Please & Hotelier being the only others that I remember ) but I get the impression (maybe wrong ) that she's often paired up romantically with male leads which look a little missed matched age wise - I loved Uchino Masaki in the Rinjo series but he looks mismatched with her. I'd like to see her play oppposite Oguri Shun or someone that looks closer to her age wise. Please don't hate me Aya Ueto fans.
I also enjoyed episode 10 as well , although in episode 11, you would think they checked the dental records on the burnt body. Great perfomances though from the supporting cast especially from Yamaguchi Sayaka and Nakahara Takeo.

Marks no Yama - a short 5 episodes murder mystery - I am only at episode two but I like the fact that it uses seasoned quality actors - Sano Shiro, Toda Naho to name a few.

Most people don't even hang around for the closing credits... Props.
Wow, I just read in the fine print of the closing credits that all of Nodame's performances on the piano were actually played by the pianist Lang Lang....that guy is HUGE in the world of classical music. That's impressive that they were able to field someone of his globally recognized caliber!

Hmm, I thought you knew he was the pianist in the two movies.....
If you were to re-watch Movie 1, there's a scene or two where Lang Lang posters are on the walls... Or is it Movie 2?

Honestly I didn't know. I guess because it's taken me so long to finally watch the films I wasn't up on all the buzz. Really fun to watch the film as it reminded me of all the laughs I had watching the anime. I think they did a great job casting for the live action drama. Hearing all the music from all those great composers is pretty entertaining to boot.

I'll keep an eye out for it when I watch the second movie. Just downloaded it today. I was able to watch the first movie hardsubbed on my TV by copying the film to a USB flash drive and sticking it in my TV's USB port. No need to burn to disc...pretty cool, I must say.

Ja, my HDTV has the same feature... Very cool indeed.
Like xploring said, there are media players out there, like from Western Digital (hey, same initials: WD ), which can take media from other sources (flash, HDD, etc.) and convert it to play on an HDTV via the HDMI port.
