Finished Shiawase ni Narou yo. Meisa looked great as expected.
The show itself wasn't any special, but it wasn't bad either. It was predictable, but anyone whose a fan of either of the leads should check it out.
It's just too bad there weren't softsubs to go with the HD raws.
I commend you on your fortitude. I checked out the last episode and basically cringed and fast-forwarded my way through Meisa's non-acting. Girl was so flat and woeful that I felt terrible for Katori and Fujiki having to suffer alongside her. _________________

Didn't watch this one but usually Katori's acting isn't unforgettable as well.

Heh that's true, I was sorrier for Fujiki than Katori. But I'd rather watch Katori than Meisa. Besides, he's quite funny in SMAP~SMAP. _________________

Just finished yesterday night watching "Bara no nai Hanaya", and I loved every minute of it: brilliantly written, acted, directed, photographed, edited...the only thing I didn't like at first was the ending song, but then it grew on me and by the last eps. I couldn't take it off my mind, LOL...

Anyway, I give this dorama a full 10/10!
A wonderful drama!
Been watching an older series called Subarishiki Kazuko Ryokoro. A really fun dysfunctional family drama and also Under One Roof. Can not believe I havent watched it all the way thru before. Ep one didnt catch me but the later eps were addictive. _________________

I just finished Bara no nai Hanaya this morning, yes both you and Eve are correct , its a really great drama , a real tear jerker.
Currently watching Fuyu no Sakura, I'd forgotten how good Kusanagi can be. WIth all that snow I keep expecting to see Bae Yong Jun turning up at any moment.

I have yet to watch both j-dramas, both seem promising.

That was a fantastic drama, that just may be my #1 drama I've seen, there's another season of it but it hasn't been subbed and probably never will be considering how old it is.
Two more episodes to go with Overtime, also watching 2 BeeTV web dramas, 40 Onna to 90 Nichi Kan de Kekkon suru Houhou, from 2009 with Naoko Iijima and 30 Haken Onna Ga Shuushoku Suru HouHou, from 2010 with Yuki Uchida and Kosuke Toyohara. _________________

Finished "Lie to Me" - an okay series and not that memorable.
Started watching "Greatest Love" - another Hong sisters production - seems promising so far.
Saw parts of Arakawa under the Bridge - story is not as true-to-anime rendition judging by the first ep. I think I prefer the anime version... _________________

I think you have to dress like one of the characters in Arakawa while watching the drama to get the full effect.

Just finished HYD 2. I can't believe that I watched it all. Kinda happy about my strong will Well, I hope that my best friend won't beat me up because I'm giving only 6/10 for these series. Gomen ne, fans and Sakurako-chan, too.
Watching Zettai Reido 2. All about surveillance this time. More added suspense than the prequel but I thought the show can do without Ueto Aya....... ke ke ke.

Oh absolutely! I'd totally go for the Kappa outfit , who can say no to a little bit of green latex
I liked the first episode but as so often with fantasy stories, the manga/anime format works better. But I had the feeling that they are trying to make an extra effort with this live action (plus seeing some bigger names in latex has something hehehe), and lastly I have a soft spot for the kid who plays Riku.

I'm going to try to finish up the anime and then maybe give this one a look just to see how in the heck they tried to make this into a live action drama.
