Just finished watching "Unfair"...and I'm sorry, but honestly, I found this bad. And I don't mean "well, a bit bad"; not even "hmm, quite bad"...I mean REAL bad, bad bad...Walker-Texas-Rangers-bad...
I can't help thinking that to make Shinohara Ryoko play a role that seems like it's been written for Dolph Lundgren (hell, seems like it's been written BY Dolph Lundgren!) it's such a tremendous waste of talent...
I noticed that not only this dorama has been quite popular, but basically everybody else here gives it a good vote...so I dunno what to say, it seems as if I've watched a different dorama, but what can I say? Imho half of it is so damn predictable (like a bad mix of all the worst Hollywood cop-movies), and the other half is either ridiculous or plain absurd...take i.e. the "twists & turns"
[---> warning: MASSIVE SPOILERS follow <---]:
Click on button to reveal/hide spoiler:
at first it's a revenge murder and the culprit is the hopeless ghost writer, but then no, it's not him, it's the editor...and then all of a sudden it turns into a kidnapping and the culprit's the babysitter, but then no, it's more than just a kidnapping, it's a stock exchange hoax and behind everything there's actually the ugly-Betty-turned-dark-lady-in-a-blink-of-an-eye, Hasumi...but then again it's more than that, it's a serial killer, and it seems like it's the ex-husband...but then no, it was all a big conspiracy and the real culprit is Andoh....DOH!
...and then again, in the 1st special it becomes an even more improbable "armed revolution conspiracy" by Yasumoto (and a weirdo with bad teeth who keeps sticking his tongue out like an iguana!)
And finally in the later movie we discover more traitors - even when they're not, they still are highly suspectable to be, so watch out for future revelations! Oh, my...
I've read that the dorama's gonna have a second run, and I wonder where the authors are gonna take it next...who knows, perhaps we'll find out that it was all a conspiracy to take over the world and the mastermind behind it was Mio-chan?
Again, I'm sorry if I sound harsh and all I wrote is of course just my very humble opinion (feel free to strongly disagree, and please take no offense if this is your fave dorama), but as I said, I found it really, really, really bad.

^ it happens, I for instance dislike Pride, a romantic drama liked by many.
Not to worry though there is no second season but a movie this fall: Unfair The Answer You may wish to skip that one!

!
I think I'm gonna follow your advice...
(hadn't it been for Shinohara Ryoko I probably would've quit watching it right at the 1st ep., thus without ending up making such a bad review... )
p.s.
Btw, I should apologize to Dolph Lundgren (maybe he could actually be a writer and be good at it ) and to Ohkura Koji (though his character is indeed a "weirdo with bad teeth sticking out his tongue like an iguana", I didn't mean no offense to the actor - I'm watching "Shiawase ni narou yo!" and imho he's quite good in it)

^^ Jeeesh, Unfair is one of faves.
Finished up Overtime, solid watch, ending was satisfying, anyone who's watched figured it would turn out how most romantic dramas go and it didn't which made it better.
Unsure of the next watch, have Shota no Sushi all set to go but have been really wanting to give Koi wa Tatakai another watch, perplexed. _________________

Heh, glad you like the ending, I thought it was appropriate too. I think most people wanted the more fairytale-ish one. _________________

Okay, do let me know how it goes with Naka nai to Kimeta hi, I don't mind spoilers (such as whether Fujiki gets the girl ).
I've seen Bus Stop and liked it, Ijima Naoko was so pretty in there. I was so surprised to see her in Shukumei. I understand addiction, I've rewatched Love Revolution countless times just to ogle at Suga/Fujiki
Should have re-checked your post, thought you mentioned Love Complex, grabbing it now, looks like a real interesting one, 3 of the stars of Overtime are in it. _________________

3? Really? I thought it was only Esumi Makiko. Anyway, I am happy that you're checking out Love Revolution, I hope you enjoy it! I adore the drama like no other, so I'm always glad to spread the lurve Plus, Fujiki was so hot in it! Esumi and Fujiki had awesome chemistry in there, so much so that I'm always hoping for them to make another drama together. _________________

I feel your pain with Bull Doctor, thru episode 4 and it hasn't gotten any better.
On the other hand, finished episode 3 of Don Quixote and I'm really starting to like it. Matsuda is great as a child welfare worker turned yakuza!
Your post convinced me to do 2 things: drop Bull Doctor for good and download the first episode of Don Quixote

I'm going to try to finish up the anime and then maybe give this one a look just to see how in the heck they tried to make this into a live action drama.
Let me know how you liked the anime, I might borrow it from my brother who owns the two seasons (I saw only a few episodes).
I just watched episode 2 tonight and I am sold! The cast must have the greatest time shooting this! Just imagine heartthrobs Oguri Shun and Yamada Takayuki with green, respectively yellow latex around their heads managing to keep straight faces - brilliant comedy in my eyes. But, it's absolutely a niche show with a bizarre story line and whacky humor, I predict minimalistic ratings!
I also watched the first episode of IS, about a youth born with both female and male reproductive organs - very good start showing how the parents came to accept the nature of their child. But this is one of these shows were all can go apeshit if they decide to go for all the teenage cliches.

Yikes. I thought you were gonna watch Love Revolution! I haven't seen Love Complex, but hope you enjoy that one. Seems the reviews on this site are quite... polarised for the drama.
I'm gonna try an episode of Bull Doctor. _________________

^^ Luckily only glance thru the reviews, my tastes tend to differ from others very often.
Unsure of which to watch, Shota no Sushi or Koi wa Tatakai, flipped a coin and watched the first 2 episodes of Zettai Kareshi, have to admit it's been quite good and humouous so far. _________________
Not horrible. In fact, if you're an Amami Yuki fan, you'll probably like it.
I watched both series because Kichise Michiko is listed as a cast member. But she had a rather small part in the first, and she only made a cameo appearance in the first episode of the second series... so I was a little let down by that.
It's a detective show that relies on snappy patter, a bit of comedy thrown into the mix... and fan loyalty. And since I"m not a big Amami fan... I tried to pay attention to the plots. But I lost interest in them pretty quickly. _________________
