What good is a rack if you have to put a coat over the head?

you call them "butterface" or "shrimp"
for those who need explanation..
butterface came from "everything 'but her face'
shrimp on the other hand.. y'know how you take of the head and just eat the body? apparently, that's applicable to women too.. (this i learned from my guy friends back home)
then again.. there's always the proverbial paperbag..

I just finished watching "Kaiden Hyaku Shosetsu" ( "100 Tales of Horror") - http://jdorama.com/drama.683.htm - and I enjoyed the heck out of it.
It's a collection of 11 ghost stories, and each episode features a different cast, a different star.
The stories aren't gorey, or gross. They are old fashioned Ghost stories that have been around for generations, and this series did a great job of telling them.
Wonderful casts episode after episode.
For Japanese movie buffs... if you've seen "Kwaidan" from the mid '60s, you'll recognise the stories.
Thing is... I thought the writers for this show did a much better job of telling the stories.
Since these were for TV, and the directors couldn't just rely on the scare factor, or the gore factor, the writers actually had to make some sense of the stories. And they did a great job.
Anyone who likes a good story, with a bit of a supernatural twist, would love this series. _________________ Manga is to Literature

I saw the first episode without sub and there weren't a lot of laughs in it. |
Don't expect any: it's pretty much heavy-duty drama.
