Thanks guys. Glad to know it's a good drama. I'll keep watching it.
It's not that I was watching it for Rina, but it was kind of slow at first. Like many shows I've seen, I guess you can't judge the whole series by only 2 episodes. Abe Hiroshi is in it and I liked every dramas he's in. The ones I remember anyway. I'll watch 2 or 3 episodes tonight.
Wedding Planner is hilarious at times.
Did the see the part where the leads play Jan Ken??? _________________

tabana,
I really enjoyed Wedding Planner, but if you're watching it for Rina Uchiyama you really are going to be disappointed. She's only in a couple of episodes and only for a very short time.
I think she totally disappears from the cast after episode 6. It's all part of the plot.

how's that one?
Love Story Daisuki
I find it very enjoyable.
plus.....Yuka looks somewhat like Asami chan and my friends think so too. THough when i made a screen cap and sent the pic to Asami....she still thought there wasn't any resemblence. She said maybe if she lost 10lbs she would probably look like her.
yea.....she gained some weight after badminton season of last year
Hoping the rest of the subs come soon.....though I only have like another 2 eps left. I kinda get whats going on during the talking so I'm not entirely clueless as to whats happening.
Going to watch Ep 5 of N's Aoi and maybe get in a good 1 or 2 eps of Good Luck tonight as well _________________

One of these days someone is gonna wake up and start writing dramas for Rina.
I just looked back at the list of her shows, and noticed something. She's almost always is a smaller, supporting role. And for my money, she's the stand out, the character I tend to notice and remember.
I hope you're right about her winning some award for Ooku hana no ran. Maybe it will get the ball rolling. _________________

I looked up what award they received. (Since Rina won it. ) It is determined by the producers (I'm not sure where), but it seems they are 2006's Rookie of the Year. (Vl y傤z)
Now for the life of me, I can't figure out how Rina is a rookie. She's been in numerous dramas prior to last year (Rookie, Motokare, etc), movies (Sotsugyo, and others). But I'm not complaining since she won, and we get to see her speak (and see her lovely face). First chance I get, I'm going to capture that stream.

So far, I'd say she had the most on screen exposure in SOS and Moto Kare
sadly that's true and i didn't care much for either of those shows...but i will say, that rina was the highlight in both those dramas....but her presence was not enough to redeem the dramas on the whole, in my opinion...
rina's also in good luck..but again, as mentioned, she has a minor role.

Yep, Moto Kare felt like a really dragged out Summer Snow extension and as for SOS, let's not go there. _________________

yeah i'm not going to beat that dead horse anymore.....
i just felt that Rina Uchiyama gave the most realistic portrayal in Moto Kare...but I didn't much fancy the plot or some of the acting by otherwise capable actors....(e.g. Tsuyoshi Dohmoto)
