media player classic (with all the toots and horns added) can play pretty much anything
http://cccp-project.net/ - if you need codecs
http://www.divx-digest.com/software/vobsub.html - for vobsub/vsfilter _________________

got it, sent one back to you...thanks.
my bad...i called her Yuri Ueno, not her actual name of Juri Ueno, she's got the serious sexy look, how is she in Swing girls?. |
I adore Ms. Ueno but "sexy" is really not how I'd describe her. Can you tell me what gave you that impression? Which dorama/movie etc.?

not in the most direct sense...in comparison to Japan's many gravure idols
but in a subtle way...in Tsubasa...
also so were the other girls that played in each individual episode of that series.

I think I'm missing something here - what is "Tsubasa"?

Thanks for the heads up. I've a link to the web page in Fuji TV:
http://www.fujitv.co.jp/b_hp/tsubasa/
Just didn't give much thought to the name in Romanji. Any chance of anyone recording the episodes and providing a link? I'm especially interested in the last episode in much Ms. Ueno starred.

Thanks again for the tip. The first 2 episodes, however, are subbed in Spanish according to the description.
Nonetheless I'm happily downloading episode 4. If I watch it enough times maybe I'll start understanding Japanese.

no.....they are also subbed in english....you were only viewing the hardsubbed spanish versions...if you go to the actually tsubasa thread located in the subtitle sub-forum you will find two "soft sub files" (*.srt)

Are you an Ueno Juri fan? How about starting a thread in the Artist forum? |
i have only seen two of her supporting roles in doramas... Engine and Orange Days...both competent performances....
feel free to start a thread if one doesn't exist....go for it!
