Just finished eps 5 & 6 of Gachi Baka, this school dorama really feels like its copying others more than any other school dorama i've seen even GTO, Kinpachi, Dragonzakura and Gokusen all had their own unique points - this one just feels like plain copying with no originality.
i think i'm getting somewhat pickier with dramas now but even so...
oh yes the school doramas are so unique they are the most original concept in the world of japanese television...i honestly think they need about 300 more school doramas so they can properly explore every possible facet of the teachers sleeping with the students.

Teacher sleeping with students, students falling in love with teacher, students are rebellious.......You get repeats of S.O.S, GTO, Gokusen and Kou Kou Kyoushi. _________________

MO, II!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
haha yes, Mo IIII Yo
A different school type drama would be nice.....but I don't think they can come up with something new.
If they do more school type drama, at laest do one based off good anime/manga such as Fruits Basket and Kare Kano for example _________________

If they make a drama out of Fruits Basket, I'll be the happiest girl alive. Hehehe _________________

If they cast Jun and Shun. I'd be happy.
Happier if they cast Jun as Yuuki and Shun as Kyo.
I think Shun will play that role just fine and I'll be soo happy to see Jun play a girly boy *refers to ep 6 of anime where they sell Onigiri *
Only thing that will piss me off in the end is that I won't get to see Shun beat up Jun _________________

i agree...it would difficult to come up with something new...

I just finished Gachi Baka! - you have no idea how difficult it was for me to finish that series - it's just plain copycat no matter how I look at it - so many of the plotlines are taken straight from GTO and Gokusen - not that I was expecting much from this one in the first place but man, you would think there would be some originality or creativity in it, say like dragonzakura... _________________

Something based on the premise of Kare Kano would definitely work - I liked Kare Kano but I think the anime sorta fell apart towards the end - if they could improve the ending of it - it could work _________________

Well......they made the GTO drama a whole lot better then how the anime turned out to be. At least IMHO _________________

wonder who'd be good to cast as Miyazawa Yukino...? and Arima-kun?
hmmm.....well i think you might surprise here, but I think Aya shouldn't be casted for that role.
I say she should play the tomboy girl
Arima is suppose to be quite tall right? So it should be Shun since he taller then Jun and all them other JE guys. I think that dude who sorta acts gay around Arima should be played by Yamapi
I haven't seen Sawajiri *gomen if i spelled wrong* Erika act before, but from she is new to the drama world, and heard she played her part well in 1 Liter of Tear, so maybe she can play this part.
If not her then girl from HYD.....Inoe Mao was it?
Just my thought. I would like to know your thoughts on the casting _________________

haha, yamapi - that might be pretty funny
shun for arima sounds just right i think
as for yukino, that's a tough nut - if only matsu takako was younger - she'd be perfect - realistically, i dunno about sawajiri, inoue mao might work, perhaps uchiyama rina? _________________

Yea....she is a tough character. She's suppose to be silly, a smartass, a girl who has a temper, superiority complex, and cute.
I guess Rina can pull it off. We'll get to see her acting ability for sure if she gets selected for the role _________________

yeah, definitely a tough character to portray - so far rina's only played fairly easy characters so this would definitely be a challenge for her and let us see her range.

also, how about shiraishi miho?
Have yet to see enough Rina dramas to know if her characters were easy to play
Shiraishi Miho is definately a good actress....though I don't think she'll pass for high school student. How far I am in the manga, the characters have yet to graduate from high school.
If they do the drama in parts....like half the drama will be played by actors and actress and the other half for when they go to college.
If the manga and anime went that far. _________________

Will follow Q in getting back to topic.
Was watching Ep 1 of Attention Please with my mom. She only made it to part where they learn how to bow correctly. My mom started to get too tired to survive another 35min of the drama
I'm bout to sleep myself.
I now remember why Aya calls Tsutsumi Karasu.
AHH they just got to the "Please Enjoy The Flight" _________________
