also watched two eps of Double Kitchen - just had to stop after that, Nogiwa Yoko's character was simply too overbearing. I've seen her play pretty much the same roles in tons of other dramas and somehow, I don't know why she continues to play that role.

In any case, so far, it really feels like Tomoko's Cinderella and Yoko is the wicked stepmother along with the two daughters (the evil stepsisters). To add to the fray, one of the daughter's boyfriends is playing a Tartuffe-like character. Tomoko's character is getting bullied left right and centre - I really feel like punching some of those characters Beat You , lol

maybe it'll get better in the next few eps but enough for today

in the mood for another sad drama for some reason right now ... wonder if i should watch 1L of tears...

Yeah, Moto Kare I didn't like as much for some reason - to me, it felt like they were trying to continue Summer Snow in an alternate universe or something...

Summer Snow was very good tho

yeah, very sad - that was one of the earliest dramas i watched after GTO and Gokusen - hadn't explored the site at the time so i wasn't totally prepared for the sad ending

i guess that's one thing i miss, i more or less know whether a dorama's going to be happy or sad before i watch it - so i'm less likely to be surprised now Doh!

personally, i thought Moto Kare was ok....i didn't think it was that bad...but that is my opinion...
but of course it wasn't great...

SOS however...i lost interest after watching a few min's, no comment on lovely kyoko-chan's acting in that...it's just weird, but she's still hot.

Engine however...i really like this one Applaud

i thought his character was quite stoic...no emotion...
yeap, another office romance...

the character depth and storyline is crucial...
some just falter and lack in many areas...also depends on personal opinions on a j-drama...
one man's garbage is another man's treasure...lol Beaten
