After 4 eps, i've finally given up on say hello to blackjack series. Its just not the genre i want to watch.
On the other hand, Good luck is pretty good - watched all 4 eps of it.
I lost interest in Good Luck! after the second episode... I didn't really care about any of the characters...

I find Shinichi Tsutsumi's acting in Good Luck really cool, especially after seeing him in Yamato Nadeshiko. The show also has the lovely Kuroki Hitomi. Ep 4 was a blast especially the end with KimuTaku's face! I was literally ROFL!
Finished watching Mukashi no otoko (Ex-lover / To Love Again). If you're sick of family/happy/anime-like drama watch this. Its a dark and realistic look at adultery and the complex emotional issues. Its a bit slow moving but a good change from bright dramas. Acting is pretty good, especially Hiroshi Abe. Norika Fujiwara's performance is ok but lacks depth. 'Akazukin' is really scarry. (you'll know who if you watch it) Not a very good drama but given the theme of the story and the seriousness of it I don't think it could be done much better.
SPOILER:
I would have given it higher marks if not for the ending. Given the dark and serious nature of the show, I was expecting something similar as well instead of something which can be found in most love story jdramas.

Well I'm already finished with Good News and also a chinese series Vigilante in a Mask and I really enjoyed both series.
Right now, I started watching Waterboys (even after ep2; I still like the movie better - maybe it's because that's the first japanese movie I watched) And I already have up to 7/8 episodes of Akimahende so I'll start on that one too this coming week....Also, I'm still watching Sailor Moon Live action whenever a new ep gets released...

Finished: Ooku (on International channel) <= I loved the costumes, but it was very difficult to follow the formal speech. Interesting story, though. Would love to find it subtitled someday.
Dekichatta Kekkon <== Ooooh!!! I loved it, it was great!!! I've never cried so much during a comedy before!
Watching: Toshiie and Matsu <== This is a long-term project, as I watch the episodes as I can get ahold of them. I've only seen the first six episodes so far, but I've got 7-11 here waiting for me. This is really an entertaining series. And, of course, I love the costumes.
Next Up: I don't have to work this weekend. *gasps of wonder and astonishment* My husband is on a business trip and I have the TV to myself! *cheers from the crowd* So it's marathon Jdrama, but which one? Hero or Narita Rikon? I require funny and a happy ending, because it's freezing and snowing outside right now. Any recommendations as to which would be better?[/b]

The dorama is annoying?? The two leads are irritating?? How so?? **stunned**
the female character is a borderline stalker! thats, and i find her so irritating....the way she talks, sulks and acts and pouts.... the guy is even worse...'wooden' doesnt even begin to describe him...the way he leads her on, then tries to reject her...
its the first time that i dont want the two leads to get together...i just dont feel the chemistry there...whole dorama feels so empty...no charisma from anyone...to be fair, i probably hate the female lead because i really hate shallow women in real life....
...sorry... i know there are a lot of fans here of this series...thought id give it a try...i only got up to eps 6 but i dont think ill be watching anymore, even though ive got the whole series...unless someone tells me it gets better?

Hmm, don't know what to tell ya. Better is a relative term, so it's hard to say... Maybe you'll have to watch all of it just to find out... But I think that you're so down on the show, I can't imagine that it'll change your mind...Gomen.

Currently watching.... Yankee Boko Ni Kaeru
So to speak, "A generic G.T.O."
And I just got a package from Japan from my girlfriend with like about 3 tapes inside. Gotta see what kind of dramas I'm gonna be watching now (after Yankee Boko Ni Kaeru).........
Most recently, I've finished SOS..... over the winter break, quite a good series, though. However, I haven't nearly had the time to watch anymore dramas until at least March, since I prefer to watch a bunch of episodes in one sitting and the like. Not sure what I'll watch next, maybe "Friends" starring Kyoko Fukada or perhaps a more newer drama like Summer snow.
I have a bunch of dramas on CDs in which I haven't even touched yet.
