Is it good?

hmm......i can't say it bad but personally i don't like kame (no offense), i watch it because Ito Misaki and Shida Mirai in this dorama. If you have watched anego it is similar with that ( dating with older woman).....
my rating is 6.5 of 10

Just finished it, although I missed a lot of fine points of this drama/movie because of the lack of subs. I must say Ms. Ueno was astounding - although she had played a more 'adult' role in "Joze, the Tigher, and the Fish", her portrait of a modern girl was much more explicit here.

It's interesting that two of Ms. Ueno's work this year shared the same theme -

Shame about the leading actor, Moriyama Mirai, though. He's not a bad actor at all but for some reason I just don't like him - not in "Sekai no Chuushin de, Ai wa Sakebu", not in "Kiken na Aneki", and certainly not here when he was having all the fun with Ms. Ueno. Bang Head

IMHO TBS should have made this into a mini-series of a total of 3 hours to give the characters more depth. Worth watching nonetheless, especially if you are, like me, a die-hard Ueno Juri fan.

Re-watching episode 1 of "14 Sai no Haha", this time with subs.

The subs made all the difference. Whereas you can still catch the drift of the drama without the subs, understanding the dialogue put the atmosphere right back in.

Shida Mirai is incredible. I know it's the copywriters, and not Mirai-chan, who wrote the script. However the way she delivered it, with the sudden flashes of adolescent maturity (a contradiction in terms, I know) admist the child-like innocense, was brilliant.

Dramas on social problems, or juvenile problems in this case, is not my usual favourite but I'll be savouring this particular dorama.

Ok, thanks. I've just finished Anego and I'm not a big Kame fan either. I guess I'll put it on hold for a while.

Thanks for the info. Thumbsup

Gonna start watching A Sleeping Forest. People say this drama is dark and full of mysteries, just the right drama for the Halloween mood. Mr Green Bonk
